Utilizing True Car, I found a red 2012 Ford Escape with under 40K miles at Auto Style. I must admit, I was apprehensive, as I've only dealt with larger dealerships in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The entire staff was helpful, and I ended up purchasing the vehicle as well as trading in my MINI Countryman. They gave me a fair price on the trade-in and I've had no problems (one week) with the Escape so far. I would recommend this dealership in the future, however my advice to any purchaser would be to do your homework and make sure you request a CarFax report. Thanks to the entire crew at Auto Style! Gary is a smooth talker and just lies to you on the phone but very savey with the emails. Won't incriminate himself. I bought a 2008 Dodge Sprinter. $30,000.00. I had it shipped to CA ($1900.00) extra. Gary told me that the Sprinter was in excellent condition and that every car that the send out they inspect and repair any and all problems. Well.. that is a bold face lie. They tried to hide over $9,000.00 worth of damage. When the car arrived in CA. It would not start. The steering module had to be replaced. Brake lights did not work. Power window buttons missing. I took the Sprinter to Cole Dodge in San Luis Obispo. They told me that It was unsafe to drive and I would have to sign a letter stating that they would not be responsible if I were to drive it off their property. The axels are both bent. They had put graphite in the differciall to quiet the noise. I have to replace the ring and pinion gears. There is no spare tire and the rack that holds it in place is missing. They took the car to University Dodge in FL. The dealership inspected it and told them the issues and they declined any repairs at all. I have a copy of the dealers inspection stating all the repairs needed and that it was declined. I could go on but there is so much more. ??Please do not use them. They are scamers and are very very good at what and how the sell cars. I have contacted a lawyer in FL. He is filing a lawsuit against them. Beware. They are really smooth.. More
