Was looking for a new F250 regular cab 4x4 all they had a was an extended cab which I didn't want they were very pushy trying to sell me that truck. I finally got ticked off and walked out and Jeff Funnell ( was an extended cab which I didn't want they were very pushy trying to sell me that truck. I finally got ticked off and walked out and Jeff Funnell ( I believe is a sales manager ) basically called my a liar compared to his sales rep. do not waste your time with this dealership More
Worked primarily with John Bisbee (internet manager) discussing the price of a new Ford Fiesta. He repeatedly dodged questions about the breakdown of the price, asking me to "come in and get the deal d discussing the price of a new Ford Fiesta. He repeatedly dodged questions about the breakdown of the price, asking me to "come in and get the deal done". He responded to e-mails by typing replies right in my quoted text, which caused me to miss some of the information. Ultimately, he told me that we had a deal on an out-the-door price, and on the subsequent e-mail, the price went up by $55. He tried to explain it away by saying new fees were introduced, and he refused to budge on this price. I told him that I could not buy from him on principle since he went back on our original agreement. I visited in person before this on a separate occasion to get a value for my trade-in. I was given a *very* high-pressure sales pitch from the salesman outside, whose name I don't recall, where he offered vague price discounts and throwing in a 40-inch TV (a special that I knew about and applied to any vehicle purchase). When I made it clear I wasn't buying today, he referred me to Todd Harbort. Todd flatly refused to give me a trade-in price (except looking up the Blue Book value) on my specific vehicle because I wasn't buying anything that day. I sent these concerns to general manager Kelly McMullen via their website, and was never contacted for any follow-up. I ultimately bought the vehicle elsewhere (Kayser Ford of Madison) for about $200 less than Metro Ford's quoted price, and without any of these run-around or high-pressure tactics. More
We leased a new Fusion from Metro Ford of Madison last week. The salesperson, Curt, gave us really good information and didn't pressure us at all. The whole experience was fun and we felt well taken care week. The salesperson, Curt, gave us really good information and didn't pressure us at all. The whole experience was fun and we felt well taken care of and that we got a fair price on the car. My wife loves her new Fusion and we would definitely go back to Metro Ford of Madison to buy or lease again! More
As I pulled up to the front doors I was aggressively approached by Lorenzo before I even closed my car door. I mentioned that I had not sat in a ford for over ten years and wished to check out what mod approached by Lorenzo before I even closed my car door. I mentioned that I had not sat in a ford for over ten years and wished to check out what model was most comfortable. The next thing I know I am being treated rather rudely. I was set up to sit in a Taurus so the alarm would go off as Lorenzo and his cohorts laughed it up. I sucked it up and asked to take an Edge for test ride. Still I was treated with obvious contempt and I could not for the life of me figure out why. Well, when I called a few days later to tell the manager about the way I was treated, he says, oh yeah, I remember you. I said ok, then why was I treated the way I was? He proceeds to tell me they didn't like the way I looked. He said I looked full of myself and that was their justification for treating a potential customer like crap. I was polite, never raised my voice our swore at anyone and I was disrespected because they didn't like my looks. Seriously? I am in the service industry and the first rule is treat the customer well. If these guys have the luxury of turning away customers because of their looks, business must be pretty good. For the record, I had just come from hearing my current vehicle needed more work than it was worth, so any "look" I had was born from that. Clearly I would not give these arrogant buttholes the time of day, much less my car business. More
Pat was very helpful and loyal regarding my initial offer and what the price I paid. I was also very pleased regarding the load process. In order to receive some rebates, I initially had to obtain the load through Ford. But based on my credit score, the person helping me offered to refinance my loan to get a better interest rate. I'm very pleased with both my vehicle but also Capitol Ford. Soon my brother will be in the market for a new car and I will certainly recommend this dealership. More
I've always been treated really well here. I have a Ford Freestyle that just had about $800 worth of work done on it. I've been real happy with their service especially the person I deal with, Mark Vandebur Freestyle that just had about $800 worth of work done on it. I've been real happy with their service especially the person I deal with, Mark Vandeburgh I believe is his name. The people that work on the car have been really great so I'll have to rate them right up there with very good on everything. More
Don listened to what I needed and understood the limits I was working within. He didn’t waste my time and pointed me right to the vehicle that would meet my needs. was working within. He didn’t waste my time and pointed me right to the vehicle that would meet my needs. More
Can I rate this place 0 stars? My wife and I drove over an hour to come see a vehicle. I called first and spoke with Steve Rudoph to make sure the car was available and was a nice car. Steve confirmed that an hour to come see a vehicle. I called first and spoke with Steve Rudoph to make sure the car was available and was a nice car. Steve confirmed that the vehicle was available, and said that it was a very nice car. I called a few hours later to let him know that we were coming to look at it, and he said he had pulled it inside to let it warm up and that it was waiting for us. We then took the hour plus pilgrimage to see the vehicle. We got there and upon walking in Steve said that there was a "discrepancy" in the ad that he noticed after we called when he pulled the car in (wait I thought he pulled the car in HOURS before I called last time). He said that the mileage which was advertised online as 30k miles was actually 53k miles. This in my opinion did depreciate the value of the vehicle. I looked at it and it looked as nice as he said, but it didn't run very good and needed to be checked out by a mechanic to make sure that it was good. We took it for a drive and came back and I told Steve that I felt that it was too expensive for the miles now, since it said 30k online and had 53k. Steve got extremely agitated when I told him that we looked at one that had a few more miles, but was a few thousand less. He was very rude and didn't want to talk with us about the car anymore. He walked away saying something about "yeah go buy that car then instead with a few thousand more miles, it's such a better deal" being totally sarcastic. I wouldn't recommend going here. We went from here to Zimbrick and bought a car the same night. The people at Zimbrick were EXTREMELY Friendly! More
