This was by far one of the best car purchases I have done. From initial contact to picking up the car Marian Dailey was exceptional in giving me the information I needed and helping me get into the car done. From initial contact to picking up the car Marian Dailey was exceptional in giving me the information I needed and helping me get into the car I wanted. There is nothing I would change about my experience with this new car purchase transaction. More
I have purchased or leased a least 15 cars in the last 20 years. I would have to say that this has been the best new car experience I have ever had. I like to do most of the up front work over the internet a years. I would have to say that this has been the best new car experience I have ever had. I like to do most of the up front work over the internet and Greg was completely straight forward. Unlike so many other dealers, when I asked for quote, I actually got one, and I great one at that. I was in contact with about 10 Mercedes dealers in the LA area, and nobody responded as quickly and as professionally as Greg. When I went to the dealership, everything was ready and the whole deal including a trade in was completed in a hour. More
I've bought four cars from this dealer and had all of them serviced there. The sales process was courteous and efficient, and as an aside, I've had good experiences with M-B Financial as well. Service h them serviced there. The sales process was courteous and efficient, and as an aside, I've had good experiences with M-B Financial as well. Service has been good all around. I will return to them for my next car. More
On 2 different occasions while I was having the routine service done on my S430 they damaged my car, enough that both times they had to send it to a body shop and stick me into a rental car. And both times service done on my S430 they damaged my car, enough that both times they had to send it to a body shop and stick me into a rental car. And both times the car had to go back to the body shop since the one they sent it to did such a poor job. If you can imagine having routine service done on your car, they damage it and then not even inspect the car prior to giving it back to you? Now to have my car serviced (since I am not taking my car back to Silver Star) I have to drive it out to Calabasas Motor Cars, which is really out of the way. Just thought you guys would like to know, this Silver Star dealership is the worst dealer I have ever dealt with, this goes for their sales department as well, not just the service department. I did not buy either one of my S-Class’s from them, I usually look for a car on the weekend and end up in the dealership allot of the time wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Well, if you dress like that and walk into Silver Star they will not give you the time of day. Is there some sort of dress code that must be followed at this dealership that people should know about? Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place like the plague. I bought one of my cars from Fletcher Jones and the other from Keyes European and had no problems at either one of them, just wish one of them was closer to me. My current lease is up in about 7-8 months and I will not be leasing another Benz for the simple fact that I have no interest in dealing with this dealers sales or service departments. More
I have been a customer of this deralership over the past 17 years and have purchased 4 cars from them. All sales representatives have been very friendly, given good price quotes, and benn more generous with 17 years and have purchased 4 cars from them. All sales representatives have been very friendly, given good price quotes, and benn more generous with test drives than any other dealer I habe experienced. I you are interested in purchasing a Mercedes, go see Ron Stransky or another member of the Silver Star sales department. They are all very friendly and competitive salespeople. The service department is not quite as star studded. They are also very friendly and give out Mercedes loaner cars on prior notice or a free ride to and from the dealer while your car is in. But they could still work on improving the quality of their work and listening to the customer(examples: slightly overfilled oil, washed car when asked not to). Also, work needed to be redone on one or two occassions. Getting an appointment for more extensive or special work other than standard oil change or servicing also requires notifying them a week or so in advance. To sum it up, average to good work, but still some catch up work to Lexus satisfaction to do. From an honest but satisfied customer. More
