They both did a walk around inspection with me when I came to pick up my car to make sure that everything checked out properly before I pulled out of the parking lot .. The staff was courtesy , polite , and handled calls for requested personnel in a very prompt and professional manner. . Thank you new management for your improvement in the quality of service that is now offered to the customer . This has changed my decision on changing dealership when I make my next purchase for a new vehicle . We have been lifelong customers because of our satisfaction with Mercedes Benz vehicles . More
I was very disappointed in the service department at Mercedes-Benz in Shreveport. When working with a luxury car brand, I feel like it's important to have amazing service. I had an appointment set for Mercedes-Benz in Shreveport. When working with a luxury car brand, I feel like it's important to have amazing service. I had an appointment set for 12:30pm to have the lock and locking lugs installed and to have my trunk looked at due to it not closing all the way with the automatic features. When I arrived, I was greeted by a very kind gentleman who got me checked in. I went inside to make sure everything else was settled, and that's when I was introduced to Andi Brooks. She was my person of contact during the whole service appointment. She was very kind, but I wish the communication was better. She did indeed get my number to text me with updates about my car and insured I was checked in. I let her know that I was going to grab lunch with a friend and that I would be back to pick up my car. She let me know that it was okay to do that, and she would keep me updated. Around 3:30pm, I still haven't heard anything about my car, so I did call to check in on my car. I was told that my car was just now being paired with a service technician. I was very understanding but slightly frustrated due to the fact I had an appointment. I felt like it shouldn't have taken that long. Around 4:50pm, I was sent a message for the price of the lock and locking lugs, and I also received a phone call saying that they wanted to keep my car overnight, which I wasn't able to do. Around 5pm, I was sent a message saying my car was about to be sent to detail. Finally, around 6pm, I was sent a message saying my car was ready to be picked up. I went to pick up my car and spoke to Andi Brooks about making another appointment and next steps. I was told that the lock and locking lugs were installed but the trunk was never looked at. It's very INSANE that it took 5 1/2 hours to install that and not even look at the trunk. She told me that it can be very busy in the afternoons, but I feel like that's no excuse when there's an appointment in place. I'm also a customer that doesn't live in Shreveport and lives a hour and a half away. I wish Andi would have told me ahead of time how busy it can be in the afternoons and that my car may not be looked at that day. I would have made the decision to reschedule my appointment. It was a waste of gas and time. Also, I never received a text confirming my appointment that day. I was also trying to be understanding since they were closing everything up. I called the next morning, and I spoke with Andi about confirming my appointment. She said that I would receive a text confirming the appointment. I never received anything. I did speak to Cedric, service and post director, and he told me that Hailey would set me up for my next appointment. As soon as I spoke with Hailey, I got a text message right away confirming my appointment. I truly don't like being a person who complains, and I'm very appreciative of the kindness of the employees along with the apologies. It's just truly frustrating to drive all that way for not everything to be done. I hope my next experience is better than the last one! More
