I recently took a car under warranty to have 2 things repaired. One was actually a preexisting issue ( car ignition bottom would not always work)that was an issue for the previous owner of the car. The service department then tried to charge me $362 for an analysis. They said that if something was identified as a problem, it would have been cover led but because nothing was identified I had to pay. I stated that I disagreed and eventually the price was reduced to $136 who’s I still did not agree with. The second issue was that plastic cover for the both front seats kept coming off. I explained and showed them the clip that appeared to not be working correctly. I paid the $136 and my daughter picked up the car. As soon as she returned home the plastic cover fell off of the driver side seat. The cover were not repaired or replaced, just simply put back on. I used the car an hour later and the warning sign was displayed on the dash saying that the ignition did not work and that I should use the valet key to start the car. A few day later I received an email based on my experience. I gave my phone number and asked the person to call. It has been several week and I have never received a call. I have leased a car, purchased that lease, purchased a car for my daughter, and I was looking to buy a third Mercedes. I did just purchase a third Mercedes but from another dealership. More
