Do not use the service department for your Mercedes. I had my 450 GLE in for an injector issue. They supposedly fixed that issue, but later called bak to tell us while test driving our car the engine I had my 450 GLE in for an injector issue. They supposedly fixed that issue, but later called bak to tell us while test driving our car the engine experienced a catastrophic issue and we were going to have to replace the cam due to possible foreign matter cratering the engine at a cost of $14,000.00. When asked if they would insure all foreign matter would be removed to prevent another possible catastrophic event, we were told they felt "fairly confident" it wouldn't happen again. We then asked to see if a whole engine replacement would be possible. At first they agreed and when my husband found a brand new engine they later recanted and said they would not do the replacement. We confronted them about them going back on their word. They agreed to do the work, but would not guarantee any of it since they did not source the engine themselves and the charge for that would be $8,200.00. Fields Mercedes had our car from Dec. 15th - January 22nd. They would ignore calls and texts. My husband made 7 trips to the dealership (round trip of 142.5 miles) in order to get answers from them about what was going on with our car. They left all the research and repair suggestions to my husband and did very little to assist with any of the process. We went to Fields Mercedes on Jan. 22, 2026, to have or GLE 450 towed back to our home at a cost of $450.00. They left my car is such bad condition it was not drivable. My husband found the new engine in Arkansas,(still in a crate wrapped in plastic) where he flew on Jan. 23, 2026 one way from Brunswick, GA to Little Rock, AR (Airfare of $430.00) and rented a truck from Enterprise ($468.00) and drove 12 hours back on Jan. 24, 2026. The entire experience with Fields Mercedes has been extremely stressful and exhausting! The service department has very little to virtually no knowledge of the engine repair and routine maintenance. One tech sent a video of him manually manipulating and shorting out the injector harness. His action ended up frying the ECU (computer) on our car!! When my husband saw the video of this..the following day he made a trip to Jacksonville to confront the service department about the video showing him shorting out the cars injection system. The dealership later confirmed the ECU was indeed shorted/fried and replaced it with the explanation of Mercedes was covering that $2,800.00 expense. I could write a novel about everything we've been through with this service department. A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE. More

I’ve taken my car here 3 times and every time they over exceed my expectations. They are very honest just all around amazing.
