Unprofessional, DO NOT RECOMMEND I found a 2002 CLK Convertible on the Long Mercedes website for $4,000.00. We went to the dealership the next day and it was parked in the back with a I found a 2002 CLK Convertible on the Long Mercedes website for $4,000.00. We went to the dealership the next day and it was parked in the back with a work order on it. The salesman, Derrick, was very nice and located the keys. He had the work order in his hand and said there was a small problem with the top. We test drove it and I told him I wanted it. The small problem with the top didn't bother me. He said if we wanted it fixed that the price would go up $1600.00, so we said we didn't want them to fix the top, we will take it as is. Another man came out and said that it had not been through a total inspection, that they stopped the inspection after they found the problem with the top and that I would have first opportunity to purchase it after inspection. Derrick was supposed to call as soon as it went through inspection. He assured me the price would not change. No call for 2 days. My husband found it on the website for $7900.00 and called. He said they decided to sell it wholesale, not retail sale the car and there were other things that had to be done by the service department. He also spoke with Phillip, the sales manager, that said the top was worked on and other things done to it. We had a friend of ours call the dealership to inquire about the car. Funny....it is for sale...retail,no less, for $3900.00 more and would be an extra 1600.00 to fix the top. Very unprofessional. Would have respected someone..anyone for the actual truth. They decided they wanted more for the car and changed the price. Not what I would expect from the prestigious Mercedes Benz name. More

He quickly texted me photos of the Infiniti G37 Dealerrater.com, Thank you for your recommendation of Derrick Walters. He was a great sales associate. He quickly texted me photos of the Infiniti G37 Coupe, which they had not even listed on their website yet. He responded to my questions and once I expressed interest in test driving it, he made sure it was sitting out front, gassed up and ready to take for a spin. It was nice to have everything flow so smoothly. Once I decided I wanted the vehicle, he had the paperwork taken care of, took my money (OF COURSE) and did it all with a professional attitude. It was just nice to have someone want to go that extra mile to take care of me. I've been to so many other dealerships that were not even close to the customer service I received from beginning to the end. Derrick is a really nice man who is definitely an asset to your dealership, and I definitely plan on telling everyone about the positive experience I had yesterday. I look forward to driving my new (well, it is used, but new to me) car and will not forget about the superb service of Long of Chattanooga. More
