Dishonest Dealership I had been looking at a 2014 E350 Mercedes with a salesman named Chris Bell. Chris was very kind and helpful. This would have been my 4th Mercedes b I had been looking at a 2014 E350 Mercedes with a salesman named Chris Bell. Chris was very kind and helpful. This would have been my 4th Mercedes but I assure you I will never buy a Mercedes again due to the unprofessional and dishonest sales manager, Marcos Ruix at Long Mercedes. Chris Bell wanted me to take the car home on Christmas Eve to make sure I would be happy with it. I agreed. Chris told me if I decided against the car that there would be no hard feelings. After being in the car for 20 minutes I noticed a pet odor and I am highly allergic to animals. I returned the car the morning after Christmas on Friday December 26th, 2014 at approximately 10:00 AM. Chris Bell was not there yet so we were being helped by the sales manager. The sales manager named Marcos Ruix told us he had just purchased a 2015 E350 Mercedes from an elderly man and he would sell me the car for $41,000.00. I told him right then that I would take it. Then 10 minutes later he comes back to me and says that he made a mistake and needs $43,000. I didn't appreciate the price increase but I wanted that car so I agreed to $43,000. I told him to get the paper work prepared. I thought he was preparing the paperwork since we were sitting there waiting on him for approximately 35 minutes. Then he comes out and rudely tells us that the car had been sold to someone else over the telephone and that I could not have it. I don't appreciate the way we were treated at all. Marcos Ruix told us the car had been sold and that he did not know it was sold but he is lying because he is the sales manager and he told me the car was for sale and available 1 hour earlier. He knew I wanted the car but he sold it out from under me. I was there in the show room and he said that he had just purchased the car so I know when I told him I would buy the car that it was not sold. The people he purchased the car from was still there also. That was very dishonest and cruel! I will make sure I do everything I can to discourage anyone from buying a Mercedes in the future. This is a very poorly ran dealership and they should be ashamed of their unprofessional and dishonest behavior. I would expect this from a no brand car lot but A Mercedes Dealership!!! Really????? I hope this is investigated because we will not be letting this go. More
Great Customer Service - Sales and Service I recently purchased a previously owned E320 wagon and love it to pieces. It took a while to find the "perfect one" for me but Derrick was fantastic I recently purchased a previously owned E320 wagon and love it to pieces. It took a while to find the "perfect one" for me but Derrick was fantastic and kept me up to date on what was available and what was coming in. He called me one day about a car that was available, I drove over to look it over and purchased it right away. I love driving it every day. Then when I had my wife's car serviced, Mary Beth in service was very easy to work with, helped me schedule everything that needed to be done, and had a loaner car waiting for me when I arrived. While the car was being serviced, she kept me up to date on the status of the work, and had our car ready, cleaned, and waiting for us when we returned. Overall a very pleasant experience. They have earned my respect and dedication. More
