We compared this to going to the dentist, going to confession, or doing something unpleasant, However, our experience with Paul Bixby made our buying experience the best we ever had. No pressure, answered all our questions - there were several. Paul was very knowledgeable and extremely patient with us. The rest of the staff was very friendly, explained various programs that were available and at no time did we feel pressured to purchase anything we did not want. You even accepted a personal check for the full amount! More

Have you seen the movie Used Cars? Below is email I sent to their customer service: Spencer and Kory, I am very happy with the vehicle so far. However, the overall buying experience an Below is email I sent to their customer service: Spencer and Kory, I am very happy with the vehicle so far. However, the overall buying experience and service after sale did not meet my standards of customer service. Spencer did a great job with me, showing me the car, some of the techie gadgets and going on the test drive. At this point, what i wanted to know what i'd get for my trade-in, how the monthly payments would go down, so i could take it home, study it, and play with my monthly budget. Spencer turned me over to Kye Simmons, and the experience quickly went downhill. This guy has all the oily charm of a snake oil salesman. He exudes insincerity under the guise of "hey, we;re best buds and i'm doing everything i can just for you". I found him to be pushy, disingenuous; and struck me instantly as untrustworthy. He began by "preparing" me that what i hoped to get for a trade in was probably too high, "so don't think i'm low-balling you dude" He went on to tell me how hard it would be for him to get market value with the mileage, and wear and blah, blah, blah, and then said the best he could do was $1200, maybe $1250. I told him i found that too low, but to write it up so i could take it home and study it.He prattled on some more then said he'd talk to his boss. When he came back he told me about some special dealers coupons that he could put towards my purchase, but "they expire today" so i had to buy today. I told him i only wanted the numbers to take home and study. (By now, between Spencer and Kye, i had said this at least eight times) He implied i was foolish to pass this up. So i asked him why i had never heard of the "magic coupons" before. "It's a dealer only thing" which is a non-answer. By now, i had just about had it with him and said "and of course they expire today" and he responded yes so i had to but now. Once again i said put the numbers on paper so i can study them. He then asked me "what will it take to put you in that car today" (how original) So i said a fair price for my car would be a start. He said he'd talk to the boss and hopefully he would be in a good mood. At this point i'm thinking i'm in the movie Used Cars and he is going to make a show of looking at my car,. Darned if he, Spencer and someone else went out to my car. I could see them from the window and it was exactly the scene from the movie where they make a show of looking at the car while talking sports and how hot various women are. After 5 minutes or so they came back in, and it was if i could hear one of them say, think it has been long enough? Yeah let's go back in. Now my car was suddenly worth $2500. I told Kye that still seemed low to me, but (once again) to write it up so i could take it home and play with my budget. Again he had to tell me how hard he had to work to get that much, (like i'm supposed to feel sorry for him) and the magic coupons and i just had to but today. Finally, i got the print out i had been asking for for the better part of 90 MINUTES. My wife and I left and were just about to get in the car when he comes Kye, running out of the dealership door yelling at us to wait for a minute. And miracle of miracles, my trade-in was magically worth $4000. If he had started there, we would have saved a lot of time and I wouldn't have such a poor impression of your dealership. But that was just the beginning. No time to detail it that day. Spencer assured me that if i brought it in first thing Wednesday, he'd arrange for a loaner and it would be ready for me after work. At that time he would go over the features of the car for me. My workday starts at 7:00. So i had to rearrange some appointments, but was there at 8:35. No Spencer, but a nice older gentleman took me under his wing and arranged for a loaner. I came back about 4:30 PM, and not only was the car not ready, no one knew for sure where it was. Spencer again wasn't available, but a gentleman named Mark tries to help. He asked me to wait and he would find my car. He was gone a good 10-15 minutes and returned with the news that they weren't finished. I told him i had been assured that id i brought it in at 8:30 it would be ready. He brought me up to date on the progress and told me it would be 2-3 hours before it would be done. To Mark's credit, he offered to bring it to me when it was done, and swap out the cars. Around 7:00 i had my car back. Mark gets an A. Spencer, you started strong but lose points turning me over to Kye and then not being there for me Wednesday. You had my cell # (i know because you gave it to Mark when he got a hold of you) and dis not keep your word. Ultimately, you get a D+. Kye a complete total F and that is only because the scale doesn't go lower. He is the stereotype of a swarmy, wheedling, fawning, insincere car salseman. I do like the car. Hated the experience. We have dealt with Paul several times before and have always been treated in a friendly, informal manner. He had a good opinion of our needs and showed us two models including test drives on both. He went over the details of both vehicles and did not try to influence us one way or the other. Our meetings with him were very pleasant experiences. More
