I recently brought my car to McGovern Volvo for a scheduled recall, but ended up needing to have it towed in a day early due to a coolant warning light. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating from the start. The vehicle ended up being at the dealership for an entire week, and during that time, no one from the service department initiated any updates. I had to reach out multiple times—at least five—to try to get information, and I was often passed between different staff members without getting clear answers. It also seemed like the coolant issue wasn’t properly assessed until later, which was surprising given that it was the reason for the tow-in. I did end up having a full service completed, and while the car is running okay now, I’ve noticed a significant drop in fuel efficiency (MPG), which is concerning. Overall, I expected better communication and more attention to the reason the vehicle was brought in. The experience left me unsure about returning for future service. More

Damon was the person with whom I first spoke to make arrangements for a NYS inspection and oil change. Upon arrival, Daman was efficient in logging information needed and explaining options to me. The actual wait time was reasonable and within the timeframe suggested. I would have to give Daman a very high score as a customer relations representative. He interacts with his customers in manner that is efficient, knowledgeable, and respectfully personable. More
