Patrick and everyone else I dealt with at Route 2 Hyundai were fantastic! If you're looking for something other than the "typical" dealership experience, this is the place to go. The dealer has a very laid back atmosphere with no pressure, plus I got a great price and an excellent trade value without hassles. Also, unlike some other Hyundai dealers, they actually had the car in inventory that I was looking for. There was one minor issue after the sale which Patrick took care of immediately and to my complete satisfaction...I was happy to see that focus on customer service didn't stop once the money had changed hands. While this is not the closest Hyundai dealership to my home, I'm sure glad I made the trip and gave them a try. I'd strongly advise anyone in the market for a car to check out Route 2 Hyundai. More
Bought a car from them, used, thought I was getting a good deal, now I'm not so sure. Definitely would not recommend going to them! Go to Salvadors or Toyota dealer instead! Had to rewrite the loan while waiting for it to come in. They kept my car and gave me a loaner, so that was good at least! I was ...told that they were " going through my car to make sure it was in great shape for when I got it back". I told them a few things I had noticed wrong, even went so far as to pull the back windshield wiper off and hand to salesman!! Oh thats not good, we will fix that, I was told! Over two weeks after my purchase, I have my car, NOTHING was fixed!!!!! Same squeeking on passanger side, same broken back wiper and " the full tank of gas the salesman said I would have, 1/4 tank of gas!!!!! Very hard to reach anyone by phone, " they are always very busy" and will call you back! I waited all day most days! The " great service of them bringing my car to me" meant waiting up till 9:30 at night for the salesman to show up....long day since I'm at work for 6am! My rating would not even be one star!!! Go someplace else, you'd be better off! More
We went in looking for a used or new car. We were shown a car and they worked with us to get the payment we were looking for. When the car we were shown and quoted our payments ended up being sold and unt a car and they worked with us to get the payment we were looking for. When the car we were shown and quoted our payments ended up being sold and untagged, the dealership was able to sell us a higher scale car at the same price... we are extremely happy with the service and the car. We have now purchased three cars at this dealership and will return again when we are looking for another car in the future. More
I recently purchased a new Hyundai Santa Fe from Route 2 Hyundai and had a great experience! Patrick Osborne was very polite and answered all my questions. He wasn't pushy at all. They gave me a great deal on my car and was able to do what Ron Bouchards said couldn't be done with my trade in vehicle. This is my 3rd vehicle purhase from them and I will continue to go back. I love the cars and I love the service. They are not your typical "stuffy" car dealership, they even have a play place for children. I love my new car!! More

This is a follow-up on this Dealer Review. The sales manager calls me and offers me a decent deal to remediate this issue. He said to give him a call before I visit him. In the meantime Hyundai calls me about my sales experience. They did not take sides, but said the dealer should have offered me both the 2012 and 2011, noted the differences and accordingly priced the two cars. This regardless of what year car each of us thought was available for sale. At the time they did not offer or mention the 2012 Hyundai Elantra to me. Now, no return calls. Not sure how to rate this dealer. To be honest in appearance and manner things seemed great. Called ahead looking for a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. I had looked at other dealers for a 2012 Hyundai Elantra. They had few in stock, but I took a test drive, and they quoted me a price. Shopping around I went to Rte 2 Hyundai This dealer told me they had many in stock. I arrived and told both sales people I was looking for 2012 Hyundai Elantra and needed acar soon. So far, so good, trouble is they showed me two 2011 Hyundai Elantras, never a 2012 Hyundai Elantra, even for comparison. There are many different options so by not taking a close look I can't tell the difference. Shame on me, I was in a rush, they knew I was in a rush, so they rushed the deal and now I discover I have a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. Not a bad car but not 2012 Hyundai Elantra. To late to compare but the other dealers offered me, at the dealer site, the same price for a 2012 Hyundai Elantra and a much lower price for a 2011 Civic. I was not price comparing the right year cars. I had even looked at other dealers for Honda Civics. In every case, and even in the past, all the dealers clearly made the distinction between the years of the cars without me needing to look at the sticker. Especially, like now with the Hyundai Elantra, when there's a model year transition. Like get the 2011's off the lot. 'So buyer beware' at Rte 2 Hyundai. Look closely at the dealer sticker and don't assume anything from the sales person. Regardless, of my naivete on this deal, these people seemed so honest and sincere, I took the bait and forget this is still a car dealership and a business. They knew I was assuming to buy a 2012 and they let me keep believing I was buying a 2012. They never even showed me a 2012 Hyundai Elantra I called them not asking to make any amends for my poor judgement. Just to vent on the misleading approach to the sale. There's no reason, like other dealers, that they did not clearly make a distinction on the year of the car or even show or offer me both year cars, unless, they had other incentives, They said a manager would call. me. No call back. So, look closely past the folksy sincerity, here. For whatever reaaon, you guess, they clearly did not make the year of the car transparent to me. So again,' Old School'car sales tactics. So if shopping, here, be diligent and beware. More
