Just an update to my 2004 Nissan Xterra. Have replaced, all of the following, sway bar links and bushings. wheel bearings, timing belt, water pump, fan clutch and now going into the process of new tires, new oil pan and plugs wires and distributor. If I was to guess I have another easy $1500-$2500 to still put in it for it to be a reliable road worthy truck. Very very upset still to this day purchasing this vehicle here. Every month has been a battle with this truck in and out of the shop.

And for another update of what kind of vehicles they sell, not even a year into owning the Nissan Xterra I bought from them, oil pan has completely failed, valve cover gaskets failed, on my third set of wheel bearings, now countless issues with the O2 sensors and the exhaust. Truck runs like garbage, doesn’t idle normal. I understand the saying “it’s maintance” but come on how can you guys do this to normal people? Have I told you I’m already $4000 into repairs on this so called $5500 Xterra?! Shysters?!?! You better be rich if you wanna buy a vehicle from here, cause trust me you will be into some head aches for sure. I have never delt with such a head ache like this! For what I paid this truck should not have had this many problems! The vehicle should have never been sold and should have been totaled! Live and learn, don’t trust SHADY, UNTRUSTWORTHY dealers anymore. Thanks again for selling me an absolute piece of junk Mass Auto Outlets.

Unfortunately, this person became upset because she drove 50 miles to my dealership to find a vehicle she viewed on the internet. This person was severely confused. She was at the wrong dealership. There are at least 10 used car dealerships within 5 miles of my place. All sell similar vehicles and all advertise on the internet. One dealership MASS MOTORS (I am MASS AUTO) is an 1/8th of a mile from me. She became even more upset when I told her - "I did not have an 2002 Envoy with 120,000 miles for $4000." But she was welcome to look at what we did have. Please remove this exaggerated negative review.

This grossly inaccurate, vicious, uncalled for review needs an honest NON-PC rebuttal. My response will be a point by point description. Preface: My internet person informed me(OLD MAN) that a person(REVIEWER) from Springfield would be coming into the dealership to look at our SUV inventory. Couple of hours later... OLD MAN: I left my office to greet them at the their vehicle with a smile on my face (salesmanship 101) I asked "May I help you?" CUSTOMER: Yes 'we spoke to Ryan" OLD MAN "ohh you must be the people from Springfield!" I'm thinking great a potential sale...smile! smile! smile! CUSTOMER: YES! we are here to see the Envoy. OLD MAN: "Sure we have 3 in stock... right over there" - while pointing towards the Envoy's. CUSTOMER: "Is that the Envoy on the internet for around $4000?" OLD MAN: We have no Envoy's for $4000. Do you have a print-out of the add? CUSTOMER: NO OLD MAN: "Do you have the stock number? The color? Do you know if it was an XL with the 3rd row seating?" "the mileage?" CUSTOMER: "No NO NO NO" OLD MAN: Well - you are welcome to look at those we do have - but none are listed for $4000 those are $6000 and up - "Would you like to go inside, look at my website, in an effort to solve the $4000 Envoy mystery. CUSTOMER: In the most nasty tone "NO need to do that" she is obviously very upset that I don't have a car within her $4000 budget. OLD MAN: I decided to politely remove myself from the abusive situation. "I'll get my list to see what I have for $4000". OLD MAN: When I returned customers were loaded into their vehicle "I advised her to find the $4000 advertisement then we can solve the problem. Summary of statements that ring false: REVIEWER: "Older guy came out with not to pleased look on his face" FALSE - This was our initial encounter, before anyone knew anything about the mysterious $4000 Envoy. REBUTTAL: No reason for me to be displeased. My habit is to greet everyone with a smile - 20 years of selling 9,000+ vehicles, largely to people I have never met before. REVIEWER: "He had no idea what vehicle I was there to see" REBUTTAL: Naturally - she spoke with someone else, who told me they came see SUV's. Nothing in particular. REVIEWER: She could not remember the spec. thought it was 02-04, 120,000 miles and around $4000. "Which one" supposedly rudely. FALSE REBUTTAL: We have established I have 3 Envoys - I know we DO NOT have a Envoy with 120,000 miles for $4000. So my natural reply was "oh wow which one?" feeling confused and hoping she could add clarity. REVIEWER: I just stood there looking confused and pissed and put out. 2/3 FALSE. REBUTTAL: Confused is true and for good reason, pissed and put out are FALSE. Conclusion: This entire exchange lasted 3 minutes. How she jammed all those false accusations, insults and character assassination phrases into a review of a 3 minute meeting is beyond belief. 1) I'm an older guy who looks pissed. 2) I'm rude 3) I'm condescending 4) I have no idea about any of my cars 5) I didn't tell her the cars were unlocked (how did she know that?) 6) I'm confused and pissed and put out, all at the same time. 7) My tone of voice is wrong 8) My attitude was completely off putting 9) I'm unprofessional 10) I was making her feel stupid 11) I thought she wasted my time 12) I had better things to do 13) I'm too good for her business 14) She can't believe I own the company 15) I'm totally deficient in people skills 16) I'm totally deficient in personality 17) I hire good eager internet guys Epilog: The dealership down the road had a 03 Envoy with 120,000 miles for $4995. She was severely confused. She should go to this place instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18SeqcDtPEI

My review IS accurate unlike DAVE"s responses to it. I don't know if he was having an internal dialogue or what because his response to my honest and accurate review is total xx. His written recreation of the "conversation" is not at all the way he spoke to me or my family. His "point by point" description of what was said was polite and rather professional but inaccurate at best. He was condescending, rude and completely Unprofessional in the way he actually he spoke and acted towards me and my family in person. And to say that I was "severely confused" and at the wrong dealership is a lie (I spoke to Ryan and Dave over the phone and got the name of the dealership and address texted to me so I could use my GPS. I still have the text too) and it's just another way of this guy trying to push the blame onto someone else instead of being honest and taking responsibility for his actions/mistakes, learning from them and not continuing to add insult to injury. I AM SERIOUSLY CONFUSED when it comes to people like Dave (who depend on their customers to make $$) thinking they can be rude bullies and that they are always right. That they can continue to treat people the way they do without being called on it. YOU NEED TO GET OVER YOURSELF AND DO BETTER...BE BETTER. Have some respect for other people. What the heck happened to the customer's always right....? ('cause lord knows Dave was wrong) Dave i'm not the only one with this POV (point of view) and hope you treat future customers better. If you don't, I don't see you staying in business. It's a tough economy and money's tight for most people which makes it even harder to part with. Try to keep that in mind when dealing with anyone cause they're all potential customers. The way you treat someone today might come back to you tomorrow. Good luck with future endeavors

I repeat... Below were my ONLY interaction(s) and inquisitive words with you that lasted 3 minutes maximum. 1) "Hello you must be the people from Springfield?" [I'm Smiling and I'm to much of a gentleman to say what you looked like.] 2) "Which one?" [I have 3 in stock, at this point, I need to determine which one] 3) "The Envoy you saw in the AD, did it have the 3rd row?" [attempting to employ the process of elimination] 4) "What was the stock number?" [hoping for a bit identifying data] 5) "Did you bring the internet Ad with you?" [many customers do] 6) "Can you show me on my website which Envoy you saw?" 7) "We have 3 Envoys all $6000 and up - you are welcome to look at them...I'll go inside for the list." [my inventory list of 80 vehicles in stock at 2 locations]. The above is 100% accurate and you cannot justify your pathetic erroneous observations-that now include "I'm bullying you". Unfortunately, YOU were pissed off, not me. YOU were disappointed, not me. YOU were looking for the $4000 Envoy that simply did not exist on my lot nor on the internet ad that you could not produce. ...AND this is your vicious exaggerated dishonest retaliation in an effort to negatively affect my livelihood. You are proud to do it... ARE YOU sure you were looking for a car that day? Thank goodness, my world has many more individuals with a positive (POV) point of view. Like the 9,000+ satisfied customers who purchased vehicles here over my 20 year successful business life. Customers are not always right...

Based on your last response... We do agree that the content (our words) are accurate. Your complaint is the 'way' theses words were spoken by me and received by you. Correct? Correct. Did I raise my voice? No. Did I use foul language? No. Did I ask irrelevant questions? No. Did I act surprised with your answers to my questions? Yes. Did I have a pissed off look because I am old? Maybe. Examine this last highly relevant question: Would we be having this absurd public conversation? IF... When you first drove up and I greeted you with "You must be the people from Springfield" And then I said look over there is that 2003 Envoy with 120,000 miles for $4000 you saw on the internet. And the Envoy was everything you dreamed it to be. My point is YOU were clearly and admittedly "pissed off" that YOU drove 50 miles and found the car did not exist on my lot. Your dream of a $4000 Envoy was destroyed and you took your disappointment out on me, an old guy trying to make an honest living. My innocent APPROPRIATE inquiries further pissed you off and that set in motion YOUR pissed off tone/attitude towards me. This was brewing in your mind all the way home and rather than continue your search for an appropriate vehicle - you decided to attack me publically with this false pathetic review. Sorry -but pissed-off customers are NOT always right.
