I was looking to sell my 2002 Land Rover for $6995. A very nice lady customer along with 2 very nice other adults. They asked if they could all go for a test drive in the Land Rover. After the test drive the nice lady customer and the others found a squeeky door hinge and the rear hatch latch needed to be replaced. The contract deal was I would pay for and install those 2 new parts and also reduce the price by $1000. We all happily agreed with that deal. I purchased a new hinge and new rear latch and they paid the $5995 discounted price. Thus far all concerned in very cordial and happy. The nice lady took the Land Rover home and then requested the following repairs after hubby (who was not present during the deal)got a look at it. Now he wants to re-negotiate the deal. 1)The Passenger side door lock, 2)Driver side rear window regulator, 3)Overhead interior light, 4)Hood Latch 5)Sunroof don't slide. I reminded her of the discounted deal which had no effect. Anyway, I did pay and fix all but the sunroof(fixing that was clearly not part of the deal)in a weeks time. She called twice during that week and I called her once to explain the part delivery was the cause for delay (no million excuses). Unfortunately, new parts from Land Rover Sudbury take time to be delivered and then I need to install them. After - reducing the price by $1000 and fixed 6 out of 7 repair requests. Many of the requests were clearly outside the contract parameters - not even a simple thank you. Just this exagerated and mostly untrue review. Can't please them all... Sorry in advance - if this truth sounds rude. Dave
