This is the way for a dealer to make up for the inspection and detailing not the car which is required and a fee is usually not given for this. If there is the typical is $500-$1000 and this is negotiable as it is not a necessary fee. The fee for this dealership is $1,295. They told me there was no issues with the car. If there are no issues what would cost $1,295. They also were not willing to negotiate so they lost the sale. More
I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership in Fall 2020 for ease of local travel and weekend trips during the pandemic. They represented the vehicle to me as having no accident history. They repeatedl 2020 for ease of local travel and weekend trips during the pandemic. They represented the vehicle to me as having no accident history. They repeatedly mentioned its "not having any accidents" in the vehicle advertisement and in face-to-face conversations and negotiations with me. Now, I am trying to trade in my vehicle at other dealers and being told that the Carfax shows an accident from 2014 that this dealership never disclosed to me; in fact, they repeatedly represented the opposite. Because of the accident in the vehicle's history that was not disclosed to me, buyers are offering me significantly less than what I paid for it only a year (and a few thousand miles ago). When I reached out to my salesperson at this dealership to inquire about the discrepancy, he did not apologize or offer to work with me to find a solution. Instead, he said "someone must have changed the Carfax" (e.g., randomly added a 2014 accident to my 2010 Rav4's Carfax in 2021). Avoid this dealership's used car lot at all costs. More
Service Department is one the worst to deal with. I went for service and wanted to replace my tires, so this guy was telling me that the tires have road hazard warranty for 12 months and only covered by Con for service and wanted to replace my tires, so this guy was telling me that the tires have road hazard warranty for 12 months and only covered by Continental dealers only not covered by mini dealer, in other word if I leave the shop and Something happens then I can not come back to mini dealer and I will have to search for a Continental dealership, made no sense to the human brain and the guy was arguing with me that it is mini policy. While I was in the shop I called Continental and they said that if anything happens to the tires in the next 12 months then I will have to take them to the place I purchased from which is MINI dealer and if MINI has an issue with it to call Continental. The guy at front still did not take my word and he said if I don’t like what he says then to take my car somewhere else, what a great way to keep a customer. I immediately ask to speak to a general manager and he could not believe what the guy at the front desk was saying, made no sense to him either, Tony the manager said if anything happens to bring my car back to the shop for replacement which makes more sense. I even had it written into my receipt. I have been thinking of replacing my Mini cooper 2015 with a new one, but after that incident I won’t be getting another Mini for sure More
Outstanding customer service. I was able to complete 90% of my MINI lease online because of COVID. Lawrence made it so easy and explained everything along the way. When it was time to pick up my new conve of my MINI lease online because of COVID. Lawrence made it so easy and explained everything along the way. When it was time to pick up my new convertible, I only had to sign a few papers and then I was on my way. My new "MINI MO" (short for MINI Mouse) was parked out front and waiting for me. Most importantly, they refused to update my GPS system from an old 2016 system even after they charged $995 for "Dealer Prep. Reconditioning" after they told me "everything (about my car) was reviewed and taken care of". I called and spoke with one of the managers and he ensured me that they would do "everything they can". However, when I got there, they simply refused by saying it was not a part of the service they are supposed to provide. Also, when I first went back there to pick up my license plate, it took them so long to install the license plate because my car was a pre-owned Lexus and they didn't have "right parts" to mount the license plate on the bumpers. The sales guy said, because, it was a Lexus not a Mini, it was a more "difficult and sophisticated technical job" than I would expect it to be. I was there for an hour just to pick up the license plate and have them screwed. Also, they were not willing to provide a very simple complimentary service like taking the sticker off the bumper that says "Open Road" because I didn't want it on the bumper. I felt furious about their incompetency, poor customer service, and even felt like I was deceived about the level of their service. The bottom line, I regret buying a car from them. Now I don't feel confident that they will provide any services as in the dealer's warranty that I have. More

Their car This is what we call a scam artist dealership. I’ve been here twice and could clearly see the games they play. Let’s begin with the pricing. Their cars are already very expensive compared to KBB and the market. After simply going on autotrader, you can see many other mini dealers with aggressive pricing. Thereafter, you are given the scam-artist style tactics that many local used car dealerships use... “If you finance from outside, then you won’t get the $1,000 financing discount.” I quickly knew the manager was cunning through the simple way he upped the mini promotional finance offers by .50% from miniusa. Then, when we sat to negotiate the price, they kept trying to work on the credit, down payment and terms of financing BEFORE discussing the price of the car. Now let’s get to the cars... Obvously the cars I test drove had aftermarket work although the Carfax’s would’ve been clean. While test driving, the salesman couldn’t even figure out simple features on the car, and was pulling random numbers / stats about the cars in general terms without knowing specifics. The thing that got to me THE MOST was that the salesman said, “The manager won’t be coming out for you again because he will be busy with other customers that will actually work on the deal of the car. That cars already being test driven and may be sold by someone who’s a little more serious about buying.” (I am missing out a lot of details and undertone with the rude way he said it.) This is when I could clearly tell they knew their scam tactics had been caught. I think it’s simply the open road brand (or the BMW brand) that is flawed. Down the road, same tactics from the BMW dealer that were used on which happens to be under the open road label. With that being said, I will be buying a mini from a different dealership. More
