Unfortunately my new vehicle had a scratch on the windshield-the service department installed a new windshield. The service team was very kind and helpful. They took care of us in a timely manner. windshield-the service department installed a new windshield. The service team was very kind and helpful. They took care of us in a timely manner. More

He was very down to earth and provided a comfortable experience. He didn't pressure me into anything but simply explained things needed for continued maintenance in the future. experience. Communication between people that answer the phone and the service department is not good. Took my vehicle in for a major water leak that come to find out was from the sunroof drain being plugged. 2 weeks the service department is not good. Took my vehicle in for a major water leak that come to find out was from the sunroof drain being plugged. 2 weeks after the car made it to the dealership I got a call from the technician stating that all of the fluids (oil, coolant etc) in the car looked fine and that it was good to go. The purpose for the car going in was because of the water leak potentially causing electrical components of the car to act erratic. The traction control had come on even after manually turning it off. My car sat at the dealership for over 6 weeks with very few updates coming from the dealership as I had to call once a week to get any updates on the car. My wife had to go without a car for 6 weeks because of their lack of loaner vehicles available and high demand for repairs on Hyundai vehicles. Overall I'm just not that impressed with Hyundai or it's service departments including Hyundai America the corporate office. Between getting calls from completely unprofessional representatives from Hyundai America and the lack of anyone taking a simple note at the dealership Hyundai is just a mess and will not buy another Hyundai vehicle. When it was finally time to pick up the vehicle I stood in the service department lobby for 10 minutes before I finally had to ask if I was in the right area for someone to assist me, again a total joke when it comes to service! Almost forgot to mention that some sort of glue residue was left on my dash and multiple spots and scratches on the front of the car where the hood meets the front clip where they obviously forgot to put their protective covers on the body of it before they were leaning into the engine compartment.
