Good service department. The sales team...not so much My wife and I bought our 2006 Buick Rainier a couple of years ago, and,while the experience of selecting the vehicle and arranging the purchase was no My wife and I bought our 2006 Buick Rainier a couple of years ago, and,while the experience of selecting the vehicle and arranging the purchase was not the worst thing I've ever been through,it could have been better. Our salesman,Robert Black,was accommodating enough until he got our signatures and our money,after which he treated us as if we didn't exist. This guy could not have been less professional. I even have the unpleasant memory of watching this man walk across the sales floor,working out on a chicken leg he brought for lunch. I can still hear the smacking sounds he was making even 2 years on. Now,the experiences we've had with the service department have been much better. They have recently revamped their procedures in an attempt to get more customers serviced and out the door in less time, and, judging from my latest experience,it appears to be working. Instead of opting for a ride home to wait until they finished with my vehicle,I chose to stay on the premises this time, and, to my great pleasure, I was back out on the road in roughly one hour. A drastic improvement!!! I only wish they'd had this new protocol in place two years ago when I first bought the car. A definite step in the right direction! I also need to point out that the employees that I've dealt with in the service department were much more professional and courteous than some of the members of Lithia's sales team, and that's not how it should be. More
