Since I was not local to the Woodbridge area, I was worried about buying so far from home. However, I dealt directly with Kristina Grimes and she was very informative about my purchase. She gave me the pros and cons and I never felt the dreaded 'car salesmen' pressure that one normally faces. As a woman, it's always difficult to get a fair deal when purchasing new or used. Kristina was able to provide me with prompt, personalized service that other dealerships lacked. Most importantly, I didn't leave the dealership feeling like I had been taken advantage of, but rather that I had received a fair deal. She even followed up with me over the next month to make sure everything was going well. The Tahoe did great during this recent snow storm and I am so glad I purchased it! I would recommend Kristina from Lindsay Chevrolet if you are looking to purchase your next Chevy. More
Excellent customer service!! Mr. Ariel Sandy was simply awesome! He was well prepared and knowledgeable about all aspects of the financing process and documentation. He was extrem Mr. Ariel Sandy was simply awesome! He was well prepared and knowledgeable about all aspects of the financing process and documentation. He was extremely professional, up front, trustworthy and demonstrated excellent customer service. He accomplished everything he advised us he would do as well as everything we asked of him to assist us with. He was able to pay off two of our vehicles in full with a trade in for two new vehicles!! He even lowered our car notes twice after we had already signed the finance paperwork. Not to mention his amazing work has put us in a position to drastically improve our credit moving forward. I recommend anyone having doubts of trading in their vehicle or purchasing a new vehicle to definitely come into Lindsay Chevrolet and work with Mr. Sandy because he can accomplish anything if he says he can make it work for you. He has excellent customer service and he will have you driving away in the car of your dreams!! More
Great Experince i was approached twice by Lindsay Chevrolet to do a buy back upgrade for my Silverado after Dragging my feet i thought i would send a email to see i i was approached twice by Lindsay Chevrolet to do a buy back upgrade for my Silverado after Dragging my feet i thought i would send a email to see if they were still serious.Josh Osborn answered and we started a email process making me wanting to set an appt to come a visit and work with him, Josh and I set a date a time and arrived early. His other appt. arrived on the wrong day and time, but he didnt let that shake him or change the level of customer service, he sort of waited on both families, Not short cutting or using pressure proves to hurry us up..Josh was very freindly and didnt use the normal sales methods to pressure or side wind you to purchase. His level of knowledge and people skills put the whole transaction at ease and made it more enjoyable--really!!!! as we went through the process he explained each step and wouldnt move on until he felt comfortable. He made my wife and i part of the whole deal and not just a customer coming in to purchase a truck, I am planning and will make an effort to make sure his name is spread around to my friends etc. This was truly a pleasant buying experience...i didnt want to be passed off to another salesperson and Josh understood that so all in all we were not passed off and Josh's hard work paid off. His communication skills are kind and to the point--truthful and understanding in my emails before our visit and appt. i listed areas of concerns and expecting them not to be followed but on the flip side all of my concerns were repected ,,,really one of the best truck buying experiences. He was was professional, honest, and well versed in knowledge about the vehicles. He answered all questions and provided us time to discuss our decisions without trying to persuade us. I would highly recommend anyone who heads to Chevy to personally ask for Nathan. I know my husband and I will continue to turn to Nathan when our next sale comes about. More

When I came in this time to trade my vehicle in I knew I had to use Nathan again. He was wonderful and keeps the customer in mind and is not there just to sell you a vehicle. He has much knowledge on the vehicles and helped with the finance people as well. He made the experience fun and not stressful! More
Dealership engages in pressure tactics This is probably the worse experience I've had at a dealership. Stay away from them, especially Nathan Hathaway, who first comes across as a "nice" gu This is probably the worse experience I've had at a dealership. Stay away from them, especially Nathan Hathaway, who first comes across as a "nice" guy, but underneath it all, is a cuthroat. He will say anything to get a sale....even going as far as preying on one's vulnerability. It's a business but compassion goes a long way. When someone says that they'd like time to think about something as important as buying/trading a car, you should respect that and allow them the courtesy. They should not be pressured. So, basically stayed there really late and when I attempted to change my mind and go home to think about it, it didn't sit well with Nathan. He kept on pressuring me and had already removed the plates off the vehicle I was considering trading. My main intention was to come check the vehicles out without actually getting a new vehicle the same day. Needless to say, his cunning pressure tatics got me to leave with another car and when I got home, I realized I made a terrible mistake. Too late! Funny thing is, they advertise a "no pressure tactic" big and bold at the dealership, but thats exactly what I experienced. Looking back, I regret ever setting foot at this dealership. Stay away if u don't want to be pressured. If u really, really can't help it, stay away from Nathan Hathaway. The guy is a fraud and very disingenuous. More
HUGE waste of my time and money So I purchased a 2011 Traverse from here, and have had the worst car buying experience to date! Sure, I should have requested a car fax report. Howeve So I purchased a 2011 Traverse from here, and have had the worst car buying experience to date! Sure, I should have requested a car fax report. However as a naive car buyer I assumed the dealership would have let us know the car I was about to purchase was recently in a bad wreck!!! My husband and I have since had to replace the ENTIRE engine, brakes, the power steering pump and gear, other gasket/ engine repairs, and the list goes on! Never ever would I buy nor recommend buying a car from the there. I should have known something was wrong when they gave me the run around about the so called warranty that was left on the vehicle. My husband and I are both Marine Corps veterans with 5 children and thought Lindsay was just giving us a much needed great deal on a family vehicle. Instead the whole ordeal has been a terrible nightmare and never ending mistake we are trying to repair! Thanks Lindsay Chevrolet for making us regret the day we ever graced your lot! More

I was hesitant about buying a car from the dealer because I didn't want to feel pressured to purchase, and I didn't want to worry about being taken advantage of. I felt none of this. Overall great experience from the moment I walked through the door. I've been using this dealer for years (I own three Chevys) and have had nothing but great experiences in Service, Parts, Finance, Sales, and the shuttle. I won't go to another Chevy dealer. More
DO NOT GO HERE - WOULD RATE ZERO STARS IF I COULD I purchased a used-chevrolet cruise back in April of this year. Upon purchasing the vehicle, my sales associate, Adea, assured me the second set of ke I purchased a used-chevrolet cruise back in April of this year. Upon purchasing the vehicle, my sales associate, Adea, assured me the second set of keys would be shipped to my provided address within the next couple of days. This was just the first of many promises that was not carried through since my experience with this dealership. Like almost every individual who drives a car off the lot, I was given a set of temporary tags for my vehicle. After completing the appropriate tasks - getting my car Maryland Inspected, I was told I would just need to fax or mail the paper work and the tags would be shipped to me shortly after. When calling to confirm they received the paper work, I was told that mailing would not do - I would physically have to present the official paperwork at the dealership (I live 2 hours away). With only days before my tags expired, I took the 2 hour drive to present the paperwork only to be not welcomed, but greeted with confusion - asking why we drove up there when we could've just faxed over the paper work. This came from another sales consultant because Adea was not in at the time. Asked if our official tags were ready they said no but it would be shipped overnight. Days later (1 day after tags expired) called up to remind them the tags have not yet come in. They claimed they had been overnight shipped again but maybe because they did it after 4PM it took a day longer to arrive. Called two days later to explain tag were still not there, they said oh we will ship it now. 7 days after tags expired and a ticket later, finally receive official tags (keep in mind this is the same address we gave for the keys to be shipped). Fast forward to now, August - been calling up there at least once every two weeks - if not more - to see status on second key situation. If I'm lucky enough to get through to someone and not get their voicemail (which I leave a detailed message) - they are confused why I'm calling, not a friendly tone, and say I need to talk to Adea. I've talked to Adea several times, she says it's not up to her anymore, she sent out the keys we must've lost them or not been there to receive them and that if we want we can pay the cost of the second keys but she would have to get back to me about that - never got back. Asked to talk to a manger - talked to Mike (Finance Manager), Alfonzo (Used-car manager), Angel (some type of manager) - all were apparently not informed of the situation or take note even though I talk to them several times they are just as unaware and confused as to who I am every time I call. Angel even asked why it's taking me so long to take care of this situation that was months ago - ya think! Actually just had a conversation with Angel and after I introduced myself and situation (knowing he's probably forgot from the week that's passed since I've talked to him since apparently no one takes notes of things or can remember a customer), he yells "Wait, who is this calling me" as if I called his personal number and interrupted him. Said he would write a note on Adea's desk and maybe she'll get back to me. Left a message with Paul Smith, General Manager - let's see if he'll get back to me. Moral of the story - it's not about the second pair of keys, it's about the customer service. You wouldn't expect to deal with a car dealership for this long but apparently I'm not even dealing with one because no one seems to care. All I wanted was for someone to call and apologize that this matter has not yet been resolved, and even say "I'm sorry we were unable to locate the keys, unfortunately we are unable to pay for the keys ourselves but can offer a discount for the inconvenience". I would've been willing to pay but not only have they not owned up to their mistakes, they are just plain rude and have no consideration. More
