My wife took her van in for repairs and Afton treated her like family. I have had bad experiances in the past but with Afton We were treated like royalty .Afton took time to go over all the woor that was per like family. Absolutely horrible. I live in NC. I called Lindsey Chevrolet to inquire about a used truck I found on Auto-Trader.com. The salesman informed me that the truck was still available. I asked about my tra Chevrolet to inquire about a used truck I found on Auto-Trader.com. The salesman informed me that the truck was still available. I asked about my trade and told him what it was i.e. (year, millage, condition...) He said no problem we can do this. I drove 4 hours on a Saturday to get this truck. I had pre-approval from my own bank for the loan this should have taken driving included maybe 10 hours...4 hrs there, 2 to test drive and buy truck and 4 hrs back... it did not). The salesman was incompetent and the sales manager was rude. I was told that they were wrong and could not give me the trade value I was offered before. I asked for my keys to leave and expressed my anger that I had just wasted a tank of gas and my Saturday because of a lie and the sales manager refused to give me my keys back. After over 3 hours of arguing and haggling with these people, they finally gave my the deal I was promised. Now I go to the finance staff who was also insanely rude, I was cramped into an office with a man who spoke broken English at best, he was very hard to understand at times and would act offended if he was asked to repeat something. I told him that I had my own financing, but he continued to go over my finance options with me offering me extended warranties and other extras that I had already declined. I again got upset and told him that I was not interested in anything accept signing and leaving so that I could get home to my dog who had been locked in a crate since 7:30am and it was now 4:30pm. I finally got out the door with my truck, it only took (round trip with dealership nightmare) 16 hours to buy a truck I was already approved for and drive 8 hours round trip. By far the worst car buying experience I have ever had, I felt abused and dirty when I left this dealership. I do not recommend this dealership! More
