However, due to our schedule and traveling plan, we were forced to put the new car acquisition project on halt for a month or so. After we got back, I called and talked to both Austin and Chris with the other dealer's quote, and they offered me a great deal on the trade-in value. Went to the dealer later and picked up the car on the price that we agreed upon. Before we left the dealer, Martie spent a great deal of time giving us a great presentation about the car and dealer, which gave us much more information that we have expected. First of all, we did a test-drive without the salesman watching over our shoulder allowing us to do the real test-drive. Secondly, they had never used the "Please, wait a minute. I have to talk to the manager." tactics to keep us waiting forever. Last but not least, the entire staff are very accommodating and professional. Both my wife and I found great pleasure doing business with this dealer. This has to be one of our best car buying experiences, if not the best. More

I went looking for a car last weekend and decided to purchase a 2013 Lexus ES 350. Since I live in SJ, I started with Lexus Stevens Creek; however, the salesman refused to give me a test drive of a 201 purchase a 2013 Lexus ES 350. Since I live in SJ, I started with Lexus Stevens Creek; however, the salesman refused to give me a test drive of a 2012 because I indicated that I really didn't want black and black was what they had in inventory. He basically blew me off and treated me like he was wasting his time. I was so irritated with his approach that I left feeling I would never spend my money there. I went home googled the next closest Lexus and it was Magnussen's. The initial sales person was friendly, helpful and polite (sorry I can't remember his name). I sent an email asking for a quote and was contacted by Chris. Chris responded promptly, answered my questions and was patient as I continued to look at alternatives. When I finally decided on a particular model/color combination that they didn't have, Chris assured me they would find the car and offered to provide me with a loaner car until the one I wanted came in. Turned out, they had a model that met my needs and I was able to drive my car home that night. They provide training to use the Lexus which we started that night. We weren't able to finish and Chris contacted me the next day to set up time for me to come back. All in all, I got what I wanted, Chris was very helpful and worked hard to make sure my experience was a good one without being overly pushy. For those reasons, I would recommend purchasing your next Lexus at Magnussen's--they were courteous, thorough and focused on pleasing me the customer! I found myself suddenly in need of a new vehicle when the car I was driving needed over $3000 in repairs. I haven't had many experiences buying cars from dealerships, but my experience at Magnussen's was excellent. Attentive customer service with my best interests in mind, friendly service staff, and low pressure (actually helpful!) sales people made my car buying experience exceptionally pleasant. More
I bought my Lexus RX 300 here in 2000. And I've been servicing it here ever since. I've always been treated fairly and the work has been top notch. Yes, other places will do it for less, but I always ge servicing it here ever since. I've always been treated fairly and the work has been top notch. Yes, other places will do it for less, but I always get a loaner car, and they take the time to service the vehicle completely.And before returning it to me, it's always washed inside and out leaving it looking like new. On this occasion dropped the car off for its 90,000 mile servie. It's a major service. I spoke with Scott Howell on the phone and he immediately arranged a time and a loaner car for me. I dropped the car off and Scott went though the service and any other issues I had with the car. He quickly put together the estimate for the additional work I wanted done, pulled up my loaner car (a new Lexus) and I was on my way. As promised, two days later Scott called saying the car was finished. When I picked up my car Scott took me through each service individually, made sure all my questions were answered, and had me out the door in minutes, all without ever feeling rushed. I will continue to take my car back to Magnussen Lexus for service for sure and it your car needs work, look up Scott. More
