Although I had a great relationship/experience with the sales rep, the vehicle I was sold had to be towed due to some problems that showed/lit up on the dashboard. I couldn't drive it after Jan 5th because it began to jerk once the gears shift w/a loud banging sound during shifts. See the following that appeared on my dash screen - CURRENT VEHICLE ALERTS: Check Engine01/05/2020A malfunction in the electronic control of the engine, throttle, or automatic transmission has been detected. Contact your Lexus dealer in order to have your vehicle inspected. All-Wheel Drive System01/05/2020A malfunction in the All-Wheel Drive System has been detected. Contact your Lexus dealer in order to have your vehicle inspected. Advanced Ultrasonic Detecting and Ranging System01/05/2020A malfunction in the Intelligent Clearance Sonar System has been detected. Do not rely on this system. Contact your Lexus dealer in order to have your vehicle inspected. In addition, the wipes banged when turned on & a suction sound/bang developed when opening the driver's door. Unfortunately the vehicle was towed to LEXUS dealer in Monmouth-Ray Catina. They worked diligently... & returned it to me in one day. I rate Lexus of Edison a 3 because I had a great experience with the Kelvin, manager. However an unarguably much better job need to be done if a vehicle sits for a yr in their lot. My vehicle is a 2019 RX 350-Purchased 12/27/2019. Hopefully these problems will not be a reoccurring issue. More

We were directed to see Mr. Manish Vyas, who took me and my family for an inventory tour followed by a test drive. Even though, our intention was absolutely not to get a car right away, but the way Mr. Vyas presented and modified the offer by tailoring down the cost and related expenses to our requirements and budget, prompted us to make a decision right there. The vehicle we purchased is fantastic and it has everything that we were looking for and we were 100% satisfied with our decision in having that deal finalized. I would strongly recommend to contact Mr. Vyas if you really want to get your dream vehicle from Lexus of Edison. He is the best sales consultant a vehicle customer could ever find. More

Incompetent an Dishonest I brought my newly bought vehicle for a recall and 3 days later the car was not starting. I towed the vehicle back to Lexus of Edison which they said I brought my newly bought vehicle for a recall and 3 days later the car was not starting. I towed the vehicle back to Lexus of Edison which they said it was the battery which I now gave approval to change, but it was still not starting so they then said it was the starter that was draining the battery. There was a 3rd party warranty company that was involved so and disagreed with the cost and labor of Lexus of Edison, so I decided to now tow the car to the mechanic used by the small dealer I bought the car from. Who then had my car for 4 days and did change the starter per the request of Lexus of Edison and the approval of the warranty company, but the car was still not starting. So now I've paid for the battery and the starter that were fine and not the issue. Then I decided to have the vehicle towed to Lexus of Freehold and not Edison, yet again I had to now pay for additional service to Lexus of Freehold to now undergo a full diagnostic. Within 3 hrs of the mechanic taking a look it was resolved that a grounding wire was not attached on the passenger side, the same side that the recall was worked on. At this point it was blatant incompetence or dishonesty on the part of Lexus of Edison and had me pay for parts my car did not need. As a woman when we take our cars to mechanics there is a stigma that women are usually taken advantage of but I would not have ever expected that of a reputable dealership. Extremely disappointing and gives Lexus a bad name, still waiting to hear from the company how they will resolve this matter!!! More

I purchased brand new car and had to sell it with in month very bad dealership. all they want is to pull out money out from your pocket. they charged me lot of dealership fees, and sold me a warranty for 3250- very bad dealership. all they want is to pull out money out from your pocket. they charged me lot of dealership fees, and sold me a warranty for 3250- that was not a lexus warranty. I find out that it was an after market warranty. once I purchased vehicle no one answer my calls and I waited almost 2 hours at dealership before someone talked to me. After 3 months of hassle and stress today I am leaving this review. Be careful , if you are not sure don't make a deal. take your time. More
