It was time for a new car as the one I was replacing (BMW) was purchased used elsewhere and was now 14 yrs. old. Buying it at the other place (not a BMW Dealer) was a very bad experience - high pressur (BMW) was purchased used elsewhere and was now 14 yrs. old. Buying it at the other place (not a BMW Dealer) was a very bad experience - high pressure & ratcheting up the price and not filing the warranty. Anyway, I went down the street to Laurel BMW of Westmont who serviced that car for the past 9 years. They were always honest with me; gave me notice of upcoming maintenance issues (such as worn brakes) and how many months away I'd need to have the work done. They always gave me a loaner if the wait time seemed too long. Sometimes work done was still covered under a part warranty, which I wouldn't have known had they not told me. I live in Chicago and always traveled out to Laurel in Westmont (1/2 hr. away in good traffic) because I TRUSTED them. When it came time to replace the car I asked Bob Kernwein in Service to recommend a good salesperson and he sent me to Don Asuncion. He was calm, professional and searched the other lots on the web since what I wanted wasn't in their lot (2013 stick shift, convertible, black). I'd researched prices and showed him what I was willing to pay with the trade-in. He found the exact car (difficult since true manual shifts aren't being made much anymore) and within an hour we had a deal and I bought the car sight-unseen. It was delivered in a week and Bob outfitted it with snow-tires. The day I picked it up Don said he was available to me for however long I needed to go over the car and even set up it's computer system to sync with my phone and garage door opener. It was a snowy day and he had winter floor mats in it for me. He then followed up with a couple e-mails and calls to be sure everything was fine. Now that is why I will only go to Laural BMW of Westmont! More

I originally bought my X3 at a different dealer but ended up getting it serviced at Laurel because of the location. I'm glad I did because their service department is top notch. Actually, because of the service quality I was getting there, we ended up leasing a vehicle from this dealer as well. Mike Powalski is my service advisor and he gives first class service. He is professional, friendly, and truly cares about his clients. He will go above and beyond for you. I can always stop in when I need to and I know my car will always be taken care of. It's a great feeling to go to a service department you trust, knowing that your car will be fixed or serviced properly. Courtesy vehicles are always available. Mike is hands down the best advisor I have worked with at any dealer. Our lease is up soon and we are considering buying another BMW from Laurel Westmont, not only because of the great experiences we have had with the sales department, but especially because of the service department. If you have a car serviced at any other dealers, especially other makes of vehicles, I'm sure you know that appointment set-ups and courtesy vehicles can be difficult to set up, and sometimes impossible at short notice. I've learned that your service advisors and service department should be a big factor in your vehicle lease/purchase. It is inevitable that your car will need service, whether it's oil changes, new tires, or non-routine work. You need to know that you can go somewhere where you can work with people you trust and actually enjoy seeing. We currently have that trust and relationship with Mike Powalski and the Laurel BMW service department, and we want to keep it that way for a very long time. More
Came to test drive BMW 335 xdrive and worked with sales person John Blaschek.
