⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ I strongly advise everyone to be cautious with this dealership which is LAUREL BMW OF WESTMONT LOCATING AT 430 E Ogden Ave Westmont, IL 60559. Based on my experience, their practices are mis with this dealership which is LAUREL BMW OF WESTMONT LOCATING AT 430 E Ogden Ave Westmont, IL 60559. Based on my experience, their practices are misleading, and I believe they are scamming customers. Do your research and consider taking your business elsewhere. Here’s my story with them; On January 4, 2024, I brought my vehicle to the dealership due to a persistent check engine light issue related to a Fuel-air mixture running too rich. Over the course of more than a year, the dealership made multiple repair attempts and filed warranty claims totaling $16,515.96. However, despite these extensive repairs, the issue was never resolved. Once my warranty was fully utilized, I was contacted on January 29, 2025, and informed that the problem had finally been identified and repaired. However, when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I immediately noticed that the check engine light came back on before I even left the service area, displaying the same fault code. When I refused to take possession of a vehicle that was still clearly not repaired, the dealership response was both unprofessional and unreasonable. I was threatened that my car would be towed if I did not remove it from their property, and they refused to provide further service, stating they were done doing business with me. Given the circumstances and the financial implications of their actions, I had no choice but to call the police to file an official report, documenting that I was being forced to take back a vehicle that remained unfixed despite the significant cost covered under my warranty. All cars seem to come off the assembly line equipped with many optional expensive features many of which are poorly described. I was told that if I did not want these I would have to submit a special reques many optional expensive features many of which are poorly described. I was told that if I did not want these I would have to submit a special request and have to wait for a month or more for one to be made without this optional equipment. Worse yet were the optional $300 wheels. When I asked if they arrived with these wheels could they be removed and replaced with the originals, I was no because the car would have to be redesigned to be driven with the originals! After we decided to buy the car anyway we had to wait a long time for someone to arrive with the sales contract. When we read it we found it very confusing and hard to understand. It also contained many expensive options some of which I already said I didn't want. Finally, after a long confusing conversation we signed it but found that my wife and I had to wait once again, This time for the salesman to show up with the keys. When he finally arrived, he apologized saying that he was tied up with another customer. After syncing my phone with the car, he gave me the keys and my wife and I started the one hour drive back home in the dark in a car that I had never driven before and taking a route that we were very unfamiliar with. The fact that we were both in our 80's did not help. There is more to be said about this and our later visit for routine service but this already too long. Our final conclusions are although we are happy with our car, our purchasing and service experiences were very disappointing. Even worse, my experiences at two other Chicago area BMW dealerships were also disappointing so be on guard where ever you go. Hopefully you can find a good one. More

Even the post-sales service and follow-up was truly outstanding. Sales leadership team was also easy to work with (although Shyann was often who I communicated with). The little amount of communication I did have the with the sales leadership team was professional and courteous at all times. Highly recommended. More
