I bought previously owned 2017 Camry on April 22, 2022, from this dealership. Ohh boy, I wish I never clicked on that car link that day online. Once there, out of safety perspective, I pointed out that the two front tires were of different brands and they said that they would replace those tires, but I had to pay for the cost of one tire and the dealership would cover the cost of the second one. I also said that I liked the tints on the windows and asked for the spare key before finalizing the paperwork. Salesperson said that he could not get the spare key at the moment since someone was using the office and he would give it to me when I come back for tire replacements, so I agreed and was happy with my purchase. I took the car for a MD State Inspection, and it did not pass the inspection due to tint percentage being at 13% which apparently was illegal in both VA and MD. I called the salesperson back and said why they would sell the car to me with illegal window tints. I am not sure, but I think they knew about it and were not honest with me at the time of sale. Anyways, he promised to make it right by replacing all window tints with legal limits and even pay for state re-inspection that it caused. He set up an appointment at the dealership for tints and tire replacements to be serviced on the same day back-to-back. I came at 9 am as scheduled and waited in the lounge room. Around noon I decided to check on the status of the car and checked with a service desk. What they told me really shocked me! Not that they only ordered the wrong tires, but nobody even had come up to me to the waiting room or called to tell me that they ordered wrong tires and service would not be performed. In addition, a salesperson told me that tint guys had not shown up. I was furious that they made me sit there for three hours without telling me all this. Salesperson told me that they were ordering correct tires and come the next day for tire replacements. I got the tires replaced the next day but not the window tints. I was told by a salesperson to go to any window tint workshop of my choice and send him the receipt for a reimbursement. I have an entire communication in writing via text messages too in addition to verbal communication. In short, their office sends me an email that they would only cover the removal cost of $200 on the receipt but not $360 installment of new legal tints. This was not the agreement I had with a salesperson. Had I known this before, I would have not gotten it installed and spend so much money. And most likely, if they told me that the tints, on the car, were not of legal measurements I would have not bought it at all. I am not that type of person who either has desire or time to deal with cars. Another thing, I still do not have permanent license plates from Koons Sterling. The temp tags were extended twice already. Apparently, it was a trade in car and bank had the title, or whatever. Why would you put a car for sale if you do not have all your documents right? I have had an issue with car spare key too, but I am not going into it - just too many things. Lesson learned - most valuable standards are not the same at all dealerships. This place is so unorganized, however I dealt with them only on a used car purchase side and cannot speak for a new car service side of it. More

I am very grateful for having purchased my vehicle from the truly professional and knowledgeable sales staff (and management) who operate Koons Sterling Ford. The people in the sales department are honest people (not a joking!) and never attempted to persuade me into a purchase but rather, worked to keep my attention on a realistic goal as my ambition for a vehicle began to "soar". I live and work in New York. I visited Koons Sterling Ford because of the dealerships inventory but mostly because of their reputation which they actually surpass! I leave a review wherever the service I received substantially exceeded my expectation and Koons Sterling Ford certainly eliminated the stress involved with the purchase of a vehicle. Thanks to Syed and all of the others who ensured that my visit was a pleasure. More

Make sure you read everything before you sign any documents or they will use deceitful tactics to get you to sign documents that you dont have to sign. No they dont have to run your credit if you have been approved by the bank. Car salesman Jason Robles was rude. Michael Palmer used words to manipulate me to sign papers for a credit check after I had agreed to say no. Even though I was approved by the bank. The dealership cannot beat the banks rate. Sent a letter to the manager Steve after a few days about my concerns, he did not offer a single apology. After 10 days, went to go pick up my car they did not have the hospitality to say thank you for the purchase nor greet me when I came to pick up the car. I done with KOONS. More

I began the sales process on the phone. Arthur Norton was my sales representative. He worked with me to get a price quote for my purchase. When agreed upon I drove from PA and upon arrival Arthur Norton was my sales representative. He worked with me to get a price quote for my purchase. Samir Kerboussi, Finance Manager, was tech Savvy and accurate. He worked to get us the best possible payment and was very professional and respectful of our time. Matt Newman, New Sales Manager, came out to meet us and see us off as we had to travel back to KY after our purchase. He was professional, kind and very aware of making sure we had the most positive experience. Overall, we had the best car buying experience EVER at Koon Sterling Ford in Sterling VA.
