Koons Sterling Ford

I had purchased a used vehicle from Sterling Ford this summer and appreciated the service level from all of the individuals who worked with me, primarily Nick Humphries and Thom Murray. After doing research on a new vehicle for my wife, we decided that buying American, and buying Ford just made a lot of sense. I am particularly pleased that Ford did NOT accept bail-outs, but rather worked hard at building quality vehicles, and building customer loyalty through good old fashioned American team work and service. At Sterling Ford, the team-work was down-right impressive. Over the course of a couple visits, if Nick Humphries was busy with other customers, then Shane Sonner would jump right in and pick up where Nick left off. On a follow-up visit for further test drives, Mike Palmer was outstanding at listening to our requirements, and providing answers and insight based upon those requirements, while never patronizing us with that all too familiar "over-polite-false-sincerity" that drives me away from a dealership (drives me away, but NOT in one of their vehicles). When my wife and I finally arrived at a decision, Thom Murray, in financing, was expert at thoroughly reviewing various options, while guiding us through process. The high quality of the vehicles that Ford is (finally) making, combined with the high level of customer service that we experienced at Sterling Ford is definitely a winning formula. Perhaps more American companies should pay attention, because Ford is actually restoring credibility in what it means to be "Made in America". Lastly, consider this: Ford did not solicit any of my comments, or pay me one thin dime. In fact, I gave my money to them. And I'll do it again. More

I searched the internet looking for a 2011 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Loaded & Shane advised me that the one i saw was just sold two days ago. They went and got it and i bought it & took delivery within three days. I arrived an hour early to pick it up due to i drove two and a half hours from my home to buy it.I pulled into the Dealership and everyone was so kind and helpful. I met Mr Brown the General Manager who acted like he was just an employee . I was so amazed he was so friendly and laid back but made sure i was taken care of from then on . I met Mr Earl in finance who was another great person who made me feel so relaxed and went into extreme details with all my concerns& options of different plans they had to offer.I run a Well Pump & Water Conditioning Service Business that has been in Business since 1951 and really respect people who treat you so good and are so honest. After an extremely dismal and unbelievably frustrating experience with another Northern VA Ford dealer, I turned to Brian D'Amico at Koons Sterling Ford. The difference between working with Mr. D'Amico w experience with another Northern VA Ford dealer, I turned to Brian D'Amico at Koons Sterling Ford. The difference between working with Mr. D'Amico was like night and day. Brian worked hard to try to locate a new vehicle for me and helped me identify options and the dealer invoice prices. He kept me fully informed after we special ordered a fully loaded 2011 F150 Raptor. He and all of his staff were exceptionally professional, pleasant, and very easy to deal with in locating and then special ordering the perfect truck for me at an incredibly low price, subsequently handling my trade in for very fair value, and financing through Ford to get the very best rates available. There was a miniscule flaw in the new Raptor ( small mar in leather of rear seat), but Brian pointed this out to me on his own, and took care of it right away. Kudos to Mr. D'Amico and his entire team at Koons for a job well done and a very satisfied customer. The new Raptor price and trade in on my Expedition were excellent for me. There was never any pressure, or the usual unsavory tactics that seem to be the norm at other dealerships. I have purchased dozens of vehicles and have never experienced any transaction nearly on par with the folks at Koons Sterling.
