On May 16, 2011 we (Wayne and Delores) came into the Service Department of Koons Toyota of Annapolis to have the passenger side front window of our daughter's 2006 Toyota Camry that was purchased on 5/1 Service Department of Koons Toyota of Annapolis to have the passenger side front window of our daughter's 2006 Toyota Camry that was purchased on 5/18/10 to be repaired. We purchase a warranty that we thought covered the problem unfornately to our surprise it was not covered which meant we would have to pay to have the car fixed this made us unhappy . Well after Wayne made contact with Wendell Williams he took care of the matter right away and all we had to pay was the $100 deductible. We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to Wendell Williams for a job will done and look forward to doing business once again at Koons Toyota of Annapolis. My wife and I have been Koons Annapolis Toyota service customers for over ten years. The service department employees have repeatedly gone out of their way to accomodate us and our schedules. The work has always been done on time and for the estimated price. Our cars have run perfectly during this period, and we have never had to return for additional repairs. Scott responded to my email inquiry and never was tempted to approach me in an unprofessional way. He quoted a price that he never wavered in backing up. His was not the lowest price but was close enough to the lowest price to encourage me to follow up with him. I visited his dealership although it is 40 miles from my home. There are more than 10 dealers between me and him. I am glad that I made my decision to go with him as my salesman. More
Let's face it - taking our cars to receive maintenance service can be just another one of those mundane chores we have to do to keep our lives - and our vehicles - running smoothly. That said, I am determined to take care of my car so it will give me years of driving and smooth running. I take my RAV4 to no other place than Koons Annapolis Toyota Scion. This is the second Toyota I have purchased from Koons; I have been going to Koons since 2004 for all of my service. The service department has for years moved mountains to make my service experience pleasant and convenient. Making the service appointment itself could not be easier - I either call or use the Koons Annapolis Toyota website to set up my appointment; this literally takes seconds. The service staff calls to give me a reminder and also sends a reminder email of my service day and time. When I come with my car to the dealership, Kevin, Lex, or Wayne, top-notch service managers, know who I am. They greet me each time. As well, in a timely manner, they come to me to tell me how long my service will be. Many times I choose to stay in the lounge, very comfortably equipped with a coffee and snack machine, big-screen tv, wireless internet service, and doughnuts!! The service managers are usually right on the money concerning how long my service will be so I can plan whether to stay for a little and enjoy the lounge or take a stroll down west street and meet a friend for lunch. When my car is completed and I am at the counter, the cashier explains the service that was completed and details the amount that I may owe or is covered by my warranty. When I pull away from Koons after my car is brought around to the front entrance, I feel a sense of accomplishment knowing my car is and will continue to be in good hands! More
Took my car for scheduled service for the first time. My husband always does this. Could not believe how friendly, customer oriented, and efficient the group at Koons Annapolis were. The service lobby was clean and they even had coffee and donuts. They had a shuttle which went to the Mall. Service was professional. I would recommend this dealership to everyone. I was on my way home from work when I totaled my 2003 Toyota Camry. I called Koons Toyota of Annapolis and I spoke with Jared. I told him what had happened. The first thing he asked was if I was ok. He then told me to come on in and he would have someone help me out. When I arrived I was introduced to Lev. He took me for a test drive, but not before he offered a bottle of cold water. I found the car that I wanted, however I was no sure how much I would be getting for my totaled Camry. We agreed to wait until I knew this information. The next day at noon my insurance company called and gave me the figures I was waiting for. Right away I called Jared to set up a time to come in and get my new car. He worked with the finance people to get me a interest rate that I could live with. Everything worked out great and within 48 hours of my accident I was in a 2009 Camry Hybrid. The reason for this review is simply because I truly think that Koons Of Annapolis's personnel have always gone above and beyond the norm when it comes to satisfying me as a customer. I have been a customer of theirs since about 2004 and thru the 7 years have purchased 2 new vehicles and 3 used vehicles for myself and my family.I am proud to say Thank You Mark Gray in used sales and Thank You Wayne Lopez in the service dept. for their constant ability to get the job done, both in an extremely professional and friendly manner.And of course Thanks to all the support personnel that are required and the new car sales dept. people that I'm sorry I don't recall their names. I have found that dealing with Koons over the years,May of 2011 being my most recent visit, has been a pleasure,has been easy, not something to dread. Their professionalism, attitudes,can-do approach is gold star worthy and I am sure I am not the only one in this area that will attest to that.I have recommended Koons to many and have yet to get any negative feed back. That in itself says a lot. I feel that in these days in time and the age of communication that has come about that when we find a buisness or a service person that desearves credit where it is due that such credit should be given. In closing, if there is in fact a Mr. Koons out there and gets to read this correspondence he has a lot to be proud of in his personnel at Koons Of Annapolis. I recently purchased a 2008 Lexus IS350. In the past I have also purchased 2 other new Toyota's from Koon's. I'm currently living in California but I'm from the Annapolis area. I purchased this car over the phone and completed all of the paperwork by mail. Koon's was able to get everything processed and the car was in my name within a week. I received my car this past Friday (had a friend drive it out). The car was exactly as Lawrence had described! Lawrence was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He made my buying experience (from across the country) smooth, comfortable and easy. Josh Betts was very helpful with the financing. My experience with Koon's was great as always. I highly recommend!
