I live in Connecticut and was visiting my daughter in Deale for Thanksgiving. I drove down to MD on Tues, 11/26 (during pouring rain). After arriving, I didn't open the car until Fri, 11/29. And what to my surprise...there was a good 1/2 inch of water (with a slight coating of ice) on the floor of the front passenger side. My daughter and I both tried to figure out where it came from but were unable to do so. We had plans to go out for the day so while out I contacted 1-800 # for Toyota asking them where the closest dealer was to us. It was Coon's. I called them and was connected with the Service Manager, Leo Gabella. Explained the situation to him. Leo thought the issue was the sun roof drain(s). I made arrangements to drop my RAV 4 off at the end of the day Friday so they could have it overnight for service on Saturday. Leo called me Sat morning and indicated that it was in fact the drain, actually both drains were stopped up causing the water to back up onto the floor. He asked for a few hours more so they could continue drying out the carpet. They cleaned the drains out (they're tiny), replaced a spring on the sun roof, vacuumed out the water on the floor and now were doing their best to dry it out. We picked it up before closing and Leo related how this type of thing can happen. When I asked for the bill, he indicated that there would be no charge. Wow! I was surprised and grateful. If I lived in that area, I would most certainly take my car to Coons for service. And it isn't just because of the no charge. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, kind and gracious. Their service and willingness to allow me to bring in the car on my time schedule was very much appreciated. For those of you who live in the area, you're fortunate to have a dealership with such great service. My daughter even said when it comes time to replace her car, she'll consider Coons. My thanks again to Leo and staff. More
I was in search of the new 2014 Toyota Avalon. After several attempts with other dealers I finally found Koons. On the websites they all showed that the 2014 was available but when I contacted Koons, Ma several attempts with other dealers I finally found Koons. On the websites they all showed that the 2014 was available but when I contacted Koons, Margo called me back. I found out that no dealer at the 2014 models on their lots at this time. The 2014 had not been released yet but some dealers won't tell you that. I met with her the next day during my lunch break, since I work in the area, Margo showed me the 2013 model with what I was looking for. The exterior color (Attitude Black Metallic) was different but the interior was the color that I was looking for and she did tell me that she could get the color - "Sizzling Crimson" that I was looking for from one of the sister dealerships. But when she showed me the car she had for me to look at, I like this one so much more. I told her that I would be bringing my spouse back after work to look at the car. We test drove and Margo did a great job in working out a deal with us for purchasing the car. She is a great salesperson and did a wonderful job. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking at buying a Toyota. I should have contacted Koons first and saved myself the hassle with all of the other dealers. Margo knew exactly what I was looking for when I told her what I was looking for. The buying process was quick and easy. We had already gotten a loan through our credit union. The Finance Department did a great job as well. All the paperwork was prepared in a timely manner especially since it was getting close to closing. Everyone took their time with us to make sure that everything was in order. I highly recommend Koons Toyota of Annapolis and will definitely purchase my next vehicle through them. This is my second Avalon that I have owned. My husband has my 2005 Avalon which is still in great condition. We will definitely revisit Koons for our next purchase. More

Mr. Jordan was the one of two good things about this dealership. This was my third purchase from Koons and is the absolute LAST! I recently purchased a 2013 Venza from Koons of Annapolis. I published my desires thru USAA buying service and within 10 minutes received a call from Kalyn. She listened to my requirements and found the exact vehicle we wanted. When we arrived at the dealership the vehicle was out front ready for our test drive. Kalyn was friendly, courteous and especially made my wife feel comfortable in the buying process. At no time was she pushy and gave us plenty of time to ourselves to discuss the purchase, even suggesting that if we were not sure to postpone the purchase. Sisto the Finance Director was a whiz with the paper work and made the transition from one vehicle to another a fast and painless process. On top of the great service I got the best trade-in for my used Avalon when compared to offers from 2 other dealers in the area. Emanuel Persaud is an excellent Sales Professional. He explained all the new features and the efforts that Toyota has done for the safety of their new car owners. The only thing that I was disappointed with was I only had my Sequoia for 10 months and I did not get what I thought was a good trade-in price. It was lower than the pay off price on my vehicle. This did NOT reflect Emanuel Persaud's professional standing. I rate him on a scale from 1 to 10 a 15. He is an excellent salesman. I was told many years ago that Toyota held it's cars value. This was not my experience at all with my Highlander and my Sequoia. More

At the end of the appointment Daniel mentioned that they looked at the vehicle and noticed that the water pump was due for replacement, which caused the sound my car was making that had been bothering me for some time. My husband could not hear the sound when I mentioned it to him, but of course he is not the one driving the vehicle, so to him everything sounded normal, even though to me it sounded like it was going to die any minute. So I was glad that Daniel not only heard the sound, but also diagnosed what it was and brought it to my attention. It might have led to a much bigger expense later on and I am so happy my car doesn't sound like it's 80 years old anymore. The fix was supposed to be done in 3 hours, but it took much less time than that. I was going to call my husband to pick me up when Daniel asked me if I needed a ride home. It was very nice and very convenient. I never got any of these services at the Bowie Toyota dealership that I used all the time. As to other characteristics, Daniel made a very good impression on me- he was very professional and courteous. He didn't sound annoying like most employees at dealerships I went to. Very pleasant, precise and to the point. I am very happy with the experience I got. Very nice amenities as well. Will be back for my next repair (hopefully not very soon) More
Bought a 2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer. Priced right at KBB Fully loaded. Got it home and noticed what seems like exhaust leak. Took it back when they were fixing other issues they said not our problem. Went to Finance dept. to get details on extended warranty they said Koons should fix the problem. Went back to used they insisted "it's your problem not ours". Now getting engine light, AC no longer works, one of the issues they did repair only lasted four weeks. Do Not Recommend to anyone. More
