He was very hel friendly. He was very patient as we looked at three different vehicles over two days. He was easy to negotiate with, honest and fair. He was very helpful as we took ownership of our 4Runner and showed us how to pair our phones as well as use the different features of the SUV. David was excellent to work with. We never felt pushed into buying something we did not want. He was helpful in explaining the different options. Truly a nice guy. More
The whole process took longer than I would have liked. I was under the impression that I would easily be able to get the special that was listed on the Toyota website. In the end I got the deal, so overall was under the impression that I would easily be able to get the special that was listed on the Toyota website. A thanks to Immanuel who was the only one to help me at my visit to Koons Toyota Annapolis and said he extended his stay to help me test drive a new Prius. No thanks to anyone else on the floor or especia my visit to Koons Toyota Annapolis and said he extended his stay to help me test drive a new Prius. No thanks to anyone else on the floor or especially to Jim who answered my initial phone call. As a team Koons made me feel very unwanted in the dealership and very much a second class visitor- not recommended for customer service. I called ahead to Koons Annapolis to see if Koons was open despite the snow and if had any Priuses available to show. I was passed to Jim in Toyota sales and he said yes to come by as the roads were clear and I said I would visit at 1145. Our entire discussion was less than 60 seconds. When I arrived there were 3 employees on the sales floor, and a receptionist. When i asked for Jim I was told he had just left but would be back. One of the people on the floor offered to catch jim but missed him and told me to have a seat and wait. I asked if he knew where Jim was or how long I would have to wait and was just told Jim would return. I asked when Jim would return and was told only that he would, but they did not know when. I asked the receptionist when Jim might return she didn't know. I then ask if someone could help me? She made no response. I asked loudly if someone wanted to sell me a car today and nobody spoke up. The incident shows great disrespect for my time as i called ahead and made a special trip in the snow and felt I had an appointment. why did nobody offer to help? I was calling the next Toyota dealer on my cell phone on my way out the door When Immanuel stood up to ask me if I had talked to Jim. Not if he could answer my questions or help but if I had talked to Jim. I explained my call and as we were talking Jim returned. Then Immanuel asked Jim if he would be able to help me. They talked for another minute to two and I exclaimed again Doesn't anyone want to sell me a car today?" Eventually Jim said he had his lunch waiting and he would like Immanuel to take care of me. My entire first 10 minutes nobody talked to me about a car or my needs and i was within earshot of 2-3 unoccupied personnel. It shows the sales force is not focused on customer service. Making an eager and ready buyer wait without taking the opportunity to engage them in any way is not only an immediate loss but can be perceived negatively even after the event. How hard would it have been to offer me a brochure while waiting, or provide a new appointment time, or actually answer my initial questions? A customer who is eager to buy a new car and says so-- should be assisted in doing so with dispatch and without demur. Immanuel gave me a test drive in a Prius and followed up later But while I really liked the car, I was not comfortable going back to Koons to give them my money even though they had the only Prius in the model and color I wanted! Fortunately right down the street there was a different dealership that was focussed on customer service and i liked their helpfulness and positive attitude. So much so they influenced my decision and helped I me to find a suitable car from their existing inventory instead of driving away in a new Prius. Too bad for the environment ......and too bad for Koons and their mode of operations. Immanuel will not get coal for his Christmas stocking but the rest of the team should. More

Before making the app 12-20-13 I Arrived at Koons Annapolis Toyota 15 minutes early for an appointment with Greg Jordan to buy a 2013 Avalon Limited. Before making the appointment I discussed my trade, an almost new (4K mile) 2013 Mercedes Benz. I also provided him with the VIN and other pertinent information so we could complete a deal easily. I brought my title, check book, cash and trade with me. Mr. Jordan was helpful but his manager did not know how to appraise my 2013 Mercedes trade in. Several stories and almost 3 hours later Mr. Jordan finally said they would get an appraisal finalized and call me the next morning (Thursday 12-19-13). They did not call so on Thursday afternoon I sent an email message but received a form response thanking me for my interest in buying from Koons Toyota. It is now Friday (12-20-13) afternoon and no communication so I tried to call Mr. Jordan but was directed to voicemail. Still no response. This was to be my fourth new car from Koons Toyota but this is an unacceptable and disrespectful way to treat a repeat customer. Actually not acceptable for any customer; repeat or first time. I had one simple request when I first placed my RFI, not to be called. However it seems no one even bothered to read that as I received a call the same day before any email came in. Next I had only one qu to be called. However it seems no one even bothered to read that as I received a call the same day before any email came in. Next I had only one question I wanted answered: "Why the vehicle was priced more than 1k over KBB value?". First I was told I probably didn't input the information right. I would like to believe that several college degrees have made me proficient at inputing information into KBB.com and Edmunds.com. I have multiple sources citing the vehicle is overpriced by at least 1k and the best response I can get is "because of the vehicle condition. When you come in for a test drive we can discuss price." If they would have paid attention to the information I first provided they would know that it is an hour drive to them and I'm not going to come in until a simple question can be answered with real answer.
