Extremley Poor Sales Tactics I generally don't write reviews but I am compelled on this occasion to express my complete dissatisfaction for the Milham Company. On Saturday, 7/26, I generally don't write reviews but I am compelled on this occasion to express my complete dissatisfaction for the Milham Company. On Saturday, 7/26, my son and I visited Milham specifically interested in test driving a Ford Edge, receive some pricing for the vehicle as well as fair pricing for the trade-in of my sons vehicle. While my son was the customer, he had asked me to assist as this was to be his first "new" car experience. Also, having dealt with Milham previously and satisfactorily on the purchase of 2 Toyota vehicles as well as much success with the service area, we assumed this would be a good opportunity, a positive experience and show some generational customer loyalty with Milham. We were led to Jimmy Breslin who performed the sales duties as expected and was very good until it came time to leave. We had expressed from the start of this ordeal that we would NOT be purchasing a vehicle today, that we would be comparing the price elsewhere to assure we were getting a fair deal, etc. After the initial pricing sheet came back, we indicated that the trade-in price was not appropriate, tried to thank him for his time and requested the keys back for my sons vehicle. Didn't get them. Now the games began. Jimmy went off to his manager and came back with a better price on the deal. Again we thanked him for his time and requested the keys back. Didn't get them. Jimmy again went off to speak to his manager. When he came back with a Bill Kammetler, who began with the whole pressure spiel of end of month sales, need to move cars etc. Again, we asked for the keys, thanked for their time. Didn't get them. They went off one last time. When they came back, I sternly asked Jimmy for the keys which he finally gave to me and I dropped them on the desk. At this point Mr. Kammetler called me rude because the keys were dropped on the desk and he persisted to try and strong arm us into committing to a purchase that we said from the beginning was NOT going to happen today. At this point I told Mr. Kammetler that his words were clearly not appreciated and that any relationship I have with Milham have been ceased because of his actions specifically. Clearly, we were up front and honest from the beginning of our intent and I do not appreciate nor will I tolerate the actions taken by this person. Having managed people for over 40 years, I would tell you that this type of demeanor, activity, gamesmanship, sales pressure and most importantly, lack of respect for the customer, would have resulted in the termination of any employee of mine. Reading through other reviews of this establishment, this is not the first occurrence of this type of action and I only wish I would have read them before we stopped by this morning. I can only hope someone else has the opportunity to read this and prepare themselves for this type of treatment from Milham. Also, I have read the boiler plate responses from Milham on file to similar reviews. No need to respond to this one as this problem seems to be acceptable behavior, appears to be persistent, and, no one at Milham does anything about it. Lastly, in terms of wasting time, which we were also accused of, IF the sales team had given their best price the first time and IF the sales team would have listened to us when we asked for the keys back the first 3 times, we all would have had a better experience. Warranty About a month ago me and my wife purchased an 08 Nissan Versa. The vehicle was great except for the tps and knock in the steering. The knock we didnt About a month ago me and my wife purchased an 08 Nissan Versa. The vehicle was great except for the tps and knock in the steering. The knock we didnt notice til after we purchased the car because the test drive was on rough rugged streets so it wasnt noticed. The tps was corrected after 2 attempts and trying to charge me for the repair. The knock is still here and was told no covered by my warranty. I thought all cars hav3 at least a 90 day warranty from th3 dealer besides the powertrain coverage which was told isnt covered. The service department lied and told me all Versas havr this problem and nothing is wrong. I investigated and found out its called an intermediate steering shaft needs replacing. After goving this info to the service dept. they tried to act like the found the problem, i told them the problem from my research. The part is almost $300 and the vehicle is just sitting in my garage because we feel its unsafe. We are paying for a car we cant drive.... Not a good thing. This problem was reported the day after we purchased the car... More

A dealership with heart. I do not write reviews that often, but when I do the quality of service has made an impact. In this case it was a positive experience. I recently purc I do not write reviews that often, but when I do the quality of service has made an impact. In this case it was a positive experience. I recently purchased a new Ford from this dealer and it was a very relaxed upfront experience. I did not feel pressured or harassed in any way. The salesman who specializes in Fords was honest, humorous, and told me what kind of vehicle I needed in my life not a higher end model to make a sale. The conversation was similar to that of a cousin or brother. I have been to dealerships where I walked out in less than ten minutes, but here I felt sincerely that I was not going to get screwed over. Dealer wasted my time I drove three hours to buy a truck, checkbook in hand, no financing needed. I called and chatted online to verify truck was in good condition and did I drove three hours to buy a truck, checkbook in hand, no financing needed. I called and chatted online to verify truck was in good condition and did not need repairs because there was an odd line "above repairs needed" on the listing, but no repairs were listed. The sales associate i spoke with on the phone, and chatted with online, both verified the truck needed no repairs. When i got there, i was informed the truck was a "value" item, and needed over $1500 in major repairs. None of the needed repairs (exhaust manifold / cracked windshield, etc) were listed on autotrader or website. A complete waste of an entire day. The sales associate, George, was friendly enough, but they did not appear fazed at all that I had wasted an entire day because their front desk was, at best inept, at worst dishonest. More
No tricks- Straight forward negotiations I wrote this about Karen Halloran, Sales Rep and my experience at Toyota off Hecktown Road in Easton, PA (Milham): I cannot say enough nice things ab I wrote this about Karen Halloran, Sales Rep and my experience at Toyota off Hecktown Road in Easton, PA (Milham): I cannot say enough nice things about our time with Karen. She knew the vehicles (3) I test drove inside and out. She had so many little detailed advantages to offer for each one as she came to know my needs. I felt as if she was truly a guide in helping me find the right car. I also liked how (Milham) provided a detailed break-down of the cost of the vehicle. When I said I wanted to compare the car on Kelly Blue Book, Karen pulled the information up on the computer for me! The price of the car was right on. There were no surprises. Karen printed out the total cost of the cars I looked at including what the monthly payment would be, which I took home with me. This is not true of other dealerships where I was passed to another person for financing information. We do expect to be looking at Toyotas with intent to buy. Karen will be our sales person. We look forward to doing business with you in the near future. Sincerely, Maggie Cooley Easton, PA More
