After talking we decided it was time to start looking (with no intention to buy). Knudtsen was our first stop. A few minutes after we got there we where greeted by Todd Olsen. He was Wonderful! very respectful of our "just looking" mind set. He asked a few questions and showed us what we where looking for. We found the perfect truck after only a few minutes. Test drove it and fell in love. Todd was Excellent in negotiating the price to exactly what we said we'd pay. I was so impressed there wasn't the usual "back and forth" with the pricing! Thay excepted our first offer and even threw in a tank of gas! something that never happens any more. It was a Fantastic experience and I highly recommend Knudsen Chevrolet to anyone looking to buy a car. I would also add, ask for TODD OLSEN he is Fabulous to work with and a really nice guy too. More
Won't go back. Purchased a used car from them. 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. It had ALOT of problems, needed a new PCM, new struts, front and rear sway bars, ball joints, spark plugs, coils, transmission flush, rear differential flush, new fuel filter (it was cracked), wires were burning behind the stereo system, rims were cutting into the tires and the tires and rims had to be replaced, serpentine belt was bad, driver side headlight plug was melting the bulb, and the last thing fixed on it was done at Camp Chevrolet, they replaced the entire gas tank as it had been leaking since the purchase....these are just a FEW issues and repairs I have had with the car. All together since I purchased it back in January I have invested over $8,000 dollars which is more than I paid for the car. Given the safety problems and issues with the vehicle it should have been classified as a lemon and never sold. My experience buying the car was good, I didn't like the salesman I had, I think his name was Dana but I don't believe he is still there anymore, he was too pushy and when I asked him if they would do a transmission flush before I purchased the vehicle he said no. The man who helped me with all of the paperwork was very friendly though, and Jeff Long who is in their service department is also a nice man. HOWEVER, I was told with it being a used vehicle no promises can be made (which is common knowledge) but that a safety inspection was performed on the vehicle. After owning the vehicle and having multiple mechanical problems I had the car tested at AutoNation and I was informed that the onboard computer (PCM) was completely faulty. This would have been the first thing checked on a safety inspection. The lights also only worked sometimes and this I noticed when I was first looking at the car, the dealer fixed that because it was a "safety concern". With everything I have had to fix with this vehicle I know for a FACT that they did not perform the safety inspection as they said they did. I previously wrote a review stating all of these problems and issues, I was contacted by their general sales manager, Joe Morris, and he said I should have brought the vehicle in to them first because maybe there was something they could have done that other places I took it for service wouldn't have been able to do for me (after realizing they didn't do the safety inspection like they told me they did, I was very hesitant to take my car back into them), and he asked that I bring in the vehicle so they can see if the extended warranty that I purchased would cover some of the work needed to be done, he also said they would do a transmission flush as a courtesy....However I had already done this so they did the rear differential flush instead. I took my car in, they had it for 5 days and gave me a rental car. The warranty covered over $2,000 dollars worth of work. I left with new struts, ball bearings, and front and rear sway bars. Jeff Long was very helpful and friendly and I actually was happy that they tried to make it right. HOWEVER, I went to have an oil change done and the mechanic found a full sized piece of paper that had been left in my engine by a mechanic at Knudtsen (and not to mention all the grease stains I had to clean off my car and windows)......I drove around for over 500 miles not knowing this. This is SO careless and my engine COULD have caught fire. Next thing my car needed was new tires and rims. I took my car into Tire Rama in Airway Heights and they realized my alignment was off by an entire degree. That is unheard of! It is standard procedure to do an alignment when replacing struts, ball bearings, and sway bars. So I left Tire Rama with a $1,600 bill and it took them three and a half hours to do the alignment....it was that bad. Honestly I am in shock. I am never letting anyone at Knudtsen touch my vehicle again. I took it in for them to make it right and they didn't do the full job and also left something in my engine! This is not okay, I am done speaking to them there is honestly nothing they can do that would make me happy. Just a fair warning to anyone who wants to purchase a vehicle from them or have them work on your car. More

My wife and myself were looking out looking for a new car for my wife. We stopped at Knudtsen Chevrolet in Post Falls, ID, and were turned over to a Sales Representative named Josh Chapman. I want to say t for my wife. We stopped at Knudtsen Chevrolet in Post Falls, ID, and were turned over to a Sales Representative named Josh Chapman. I want to say that I am very leery of car salesmen due to many past experiences. The worst being my wife's last car, which we bought at Wendle Ford in Spokane, WA. We ended up buying a newer used car that my wife is very happy with. I would heartly recommend Knudtsen Chevrolet to anyone looking to buy a new or used car. And if you do, ask for Josh Chapman if you want to be treated like a friend rather than a customer. Josh is a great representative of this dealership. Thank you for a happy experience! More

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Knudsten Chevrolet a full sized SUV. The vehicle was quickly turned around and pushed through to sales without proper mechanical inspection. A week after the Chevrolet a full sized SUV. The vehicle was quickly turned around and pushed through to sales without proper mechanical inspection. A week after the purchase I realized a heavy exhaust leak sound in the engine compartment. I requested service to review the possible mechanical issue and they confirmed a broken exhaust intake manifold issue. Assuming a vehicle purchased from a dealership of this size and after purchasing an extended warranty none of the expenses were to be covered for the rather large and extensive mechanical repair. I called to speak with the owner directly about my concerns and to request that Knudsten make right on their used vehicle sold with such extensive mechanical issues. Mr. Knudsten himself told me that it is not a safety issue therefore regardless of the vehicle it would not be the responsibility of the dealership for any used vehicle. He then continued to brief me on the fact I should assume the vehicle would have mechanical issues since it was not 10 years old. I assure any consumer that an older vehicle will have wear and tear. However, I do not expect to pay several thousands of dollars for a used vehicle and several more for extended warranties to come home and make well over an additional $1000.00+ dollars in immediate repairs. Never in my life have I been treated so poorly as a woman. Knudsten Chevrolet should be embarrassed that they sold a used vehicle in such poor condition and refused to correct the issue. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AGAIN, TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE I WAS A RETURN CUSTOMER TO KNUDSTEN CHEVROLET, THIS WAS THE SECOND TRUCK I HAD PURCHASED THROUGH THIS COMPANY. GO TO PARKER TOYOTA WE HAVE ALSO PURCHASED TWO VEHICLES FOR MY SPOUSE THROUGH THE COMPANY AND THEY KNOW WHAT CUSOMTER SERVICE IS SUPPOSED TO BE. More

They have always been able to match or beat their competitors prices. No reason to go anywhere else when needing a vehicle. They are equally friendly when we just stop in for a visit while having our vehicle serviced. Jim Baunch is super in the service department, also. Knudtsens goes above and beyond. More

I had several other Chevy dealerships within a much closer radius, but I was willing to drive from Washington to Idaho on a routine basis because I trusted the service manager (Jim Baunch) and appreciated his patience when explaining what was wrong when I had a problem, and why he recommended certain services. This was my service vehicle, and I drove over 40,000 miles a year with it - and was never left stranded on the side of the road in 3 years and 156,000 miles! (LOL - I'm not counting the one time I ran out of gas, which was not Jim's fault!) ***Second vehicle purchased was a new 2011 Chevy Avalanche from this dealership - price was comparable to other local sales/incentives of dealerships within a 100 mile radius. Found a couple of comparable vehicles, at a slightly better price even, but these dealerships proceeded to offer me less on my two trade-in vehicles then what even Kelly Blue Book said they were worth, and immediately the "RED Flags" went up. I finally got tired of trying to find a slightly better deal, because I was tired of dealing with all the "shady" salesman and dealerships. Sounds strange, but I actually felt guilty for trying to find a better deal elsewhere...felt like I was "cheating" on my previous Knudtsen salesman (Joe Grillo)?!?!?!?! Anyhow, my last stop was back at Knudtsen Chevrolet, sitting in front of Joe Grillo and it should have been my first/last stop all along. Joe knew what I wanted/needed for my particular job (2011 Avalanche) actually advised/guided me of other cheaper suitable options (2011 Silverado) available to me, and finally helped make the deal I needed to get me into my first option. In hind-site, I think I knew all along that Knudtsen was my dealer of choice because I didn't realize I actually felt like part of their family...thus the previous "guilt factor". The friendships and trust I had built over my first 3 years with them has convinced me that I will continue to drive 60 miles roundtrip for all my vehicle service needs. I actually look forward to doing my routine service appointments at Knudtsen, as it allows me to catch-up with my friends Joe Grillo and Jim Baunch! So, YES - I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone I find is in the market for a NEW/Used vehicle in the future, and would also recommend them for all their follow-up service needs. More
