Overall I had a pretty positive experience with Key Scales Ford. Nice small town dealership and atmosphere. Their personnel seemed genuinely nice and they followed through with all of their promises Scales Ford. Nice small town dealership and atmosphere. Their personnel seemed genuinely nice and they followed through with all of their promises without any prodding from me, so that was important and appreciated. And they have followed up after the sale. Like any dealer they are trying to make a sell and maximize their profits, so be an informed consumer and be prepared to negotiate. More
My wife and I moved to Florida in 2004, and traded up our 1999 Ford Escort for a Ford Fusion in 2007. We chose our new car at Key Scales Ford in Leesburg because of our preference to buy American, the convenience of Key Scales to our new home, and the level of comfort we felt with the staff when we first visited the dealership. Some weeks ago, when we decided to trade up again, the first dealership we visited was Key Scales. The reasons mentioned above were the same but our comfort level had been reinforced by six years of very good service from Key Scales. When we set out to buy our newest car, we wanted to take a close look at hybrids. I called Key Scales and talked with Mike Nall. Mike said that Key Scales was selling this model within hours of receiving them. We hopped in our car, took a test ride, and purchased the first SEL Model that became available. Mike Nall is a pleasure to work with. He presented the vehicle, answered our questions, and allowed us to control the process. My wife and I keep our cars for about six years, and Extended Service Plans have given us protection until we trade. Janet Benni, Key Scales Finance Manager, knows her ESPs. She is very professional and very patient, allowing us all the time we needed to decide on the plan that was the best fit for us. Bruce Johnson , Key Scales Sales Manager, does more than meet and greet. He is genuinely sincere in wanting us to have a good experience everytime we visit the dealership. He comes over and talks to us whenever he sees us. He wants to know if there is anyway he can be helpful. Keyscales Ford is just a nice place to buy a car. More
I brought my 11 fusion in for a basic oil change. After noticing an offensive odor in the car and checking the interior for possible oil or grease stains I opened the hood and discovered the oil fill cap h noticing an offensive odor in the car and checking the interior for possible oil or grease stains I opened the hood and discovered the oil fill cap hadn't been replaced after the oil change. Oil had been thrown out onto the engine and hood insulation causing the odor. The engine was cleaned and the engine inspected and appears to be ok. My main concern is about 2-3 months after I purchased the car I noticed the left front marker light wasn't working. I brought it in and after Joe V checked it out he discovered the marker lens was cracked on the cover was broken. He spoke with someone from management and said the agreed to repair it as well as replacing a clip that was apparently broken as well. After the lens, light and fog light cover was replaced the "clip" came in and Joe schedules an appointment with the body shop the install the clip. After they replace the clip the guy from the body shop told me the car had had some body work done and he thought the front bumper had been repainted. I spoke with one of the managers when I had the oil changed and asked for the history on the car. Obviously they were aware of the issues with the car when I bought it and all I asked was what were these issues. Key Scales was highly recommended by a friend that used to work for your competition and I have/had no reason to believe otherwise. Just the facts please, remember money talks, BS walks! I contacted Key Scales Ford the morning of Oct. 31 and talked with Rod Berger about the 2012 inventory that was available on Ford Fusion Hybrids. He gave me excellent information, quoted a price, and encouraged me to visit. My husband and I arrived at approximately 3:45 p.m. that same afternoon and by 7:15 p.m. drove off with a 2012 Ford Fusion Hybrid. Rod was a very knowledgable salesman and took a great deal of time to go over all of the features on the vehicle. He stayed with us for several hours and made sure that we were completely satisfied. Yes, I would without question recommend Key Scales Ford to friends and family and tell them to call Rod Berger. More
We have called Paul Dean for the past 7 months and have yet received a call back and continue to get the fast scuffle from the sale manger. We have purchased a car that was recommended by Key Scales to pul yet received a call back and continue to get the fast scuffle from the sale manger. We have purchased a car that was recommended by Key Scales to pull behind our camper and paid extra for the towing equipment only to find out the car cannot be towed and we are on our second transmission via Ford warranty. (Even Ford said the Fusion cannot be towed four on the ground) We have requested for the past seven months that Paul Dean contact us. We visit seasonally and how can we drive the camper and the car at the same time? We see very little value in Key Scales if any at this time. More

We started working with Fred "Rico" over the phone and via email about a month before we actually came in to the dealership. He gave us a call to let us know about the great rebates being offere phone and via email about a month before we actually came in to the dealership. He gave us a call to let us know about the great rebates being offered so we came in sooner than planned. As we didn't find anything that suited us on the lot, Fred immediately began a search for our new vehicle. Once we found it....Fred got to work to get us the best deal. He was kind and patient and helpful in every way! We will send our friends to him in the future, and return to him ourselves!~ Also, Janet Benni was super awesome at getting us all the warranties we wanted and a great interest rate to make our payment even more affordable. She was very knowledgeable and worked in a very efficient manor to get us on our way with our new investment! We look forward to a long relationship with Key Scales! Thanks for everything...and making our dream come true! We are beyond happy! More
We called service because our car was dead. Afte a few questions we were directed to the 24 Roadside Assist which came in 15 minutes. Got a jump on our battery and off we went to Key Scales. In spite of questions we were directed to the 24 Roadside Assist which came in 15 minutes. Got a jump on our battery and off we went to Key Scales. In spite of being busy we were greeted with a smile and assured that they could help and help they did. It's so comforting to have people like Wendy ready and willing to help and get us back on the road. When the time comes for us to by another vehicle Key Scales will be the dealership of choice. Thank you soooo very much, Art & Barbara Stellmann More
Rod was very helpful with our purchase of the Ford Focus ST. It had to be built from scratch and he kept us informed on each step that he was made aware of. It helped ease the pain of the long wait.
