I do not know these folks personally so everything in this review is solely from a dealer/buyer perspective. I had done my due diligence and printed off the information on a truck (F150) that I was interested in, one that had been on the lot for some time. The truck I was most interested in showed 5 miles on the odometer. I hunted down a salesperson, Greg Huff, and he, my brother and I took the truck for a test drive. The truck's interior was absolutely trashed with mud and dirt and I noticed that the truck had over 2200 miles on it. When asked, Greg said it was a "loaner car for service customers). Other than I was surprised that a dealership would keep a vehicle on it's lot in that condition, I didn't care about how the mileage. After the drive, we sat down to discuss numbers. We came to a number, I initialed the quote and Greg went to talk to his boss. They came back $500 over the initialed quote so we left the dealership. The next business day, Greg called and gave me both the quoted price that I initially asked for and an "out the door" price. I asked him to email me the quote, which he did. I then told Greg I was interested in the truck and that I would start the process of selling my vehicle and get financing. During the next few days, Greg, his boss Terry and I talked several times to discuss normal car buying stuff. Two days later, I sold my car and called Greg to tell him that I would be over shortly to pick up the truck and I asked him if he could have the interior spruced up. During that conversation, he asked if he could get the financing paperwork started. I reminded him that I went through my personal credit union and he responded that if I wanted the price he promised me, I would have to go through Ford Financing. I reminded Greg that at no time whatsoever during the past 10 days of near constant communication had he said anything about the price being predicated on my financing through Ford. There was absolutely no conversation implied or otherwise about the price being anything other than the "out the door" price. Greg then stated "my bad" with not even a hint of apology. I told him that this was bait and switch in which he reminded me of the great deal I was getting on the truck. I reminded him that the price was because the truck had so many miles from it being a loaner vehicle. So, as to add to the frustration, Greg goes into full used car salesman mode and whispers to me that he shouldn't be telling me that the dealer didn't know how all the miles on the truck got there and that the truck had "disappeared" off the lot for an unknown amount of time. After hearing all this, I told him that I needed some time to clear my head and digest this new shady angle that he had thrown at me. A hour later, Greg called me and said the truck had been sold. So here the rub: -The truck was misrepresented and incorrectly advertised due to the mileage being off by over 2100 miles. - The dealership, though it's salesman never mentioned that the price was predicated on any kind of terms whatsoever. Bait and Switch. -The salesman waited until I sold my vehicle (leaving me in a position of having to buy the truck) until he let me know that the price would be predicated on financing. -After being caught in several lies, the dealer and the dealership conspired to "sell" a truck that had been on the lot for over a month, had miraculously been sold right when the xxxx was hitting the fan in order to save face. I wrote a professional email to the GM, Chris Franks, and outlined the problems and deceptive practices being used by his employees. I did not hear from Chris. I did however hear back from another salesman who offered no help other than trying to get me to buy another truck from him. My overall experience with the salesman was 1 out of 5 stars. Greg did nothing to show me he wanted my business or that my business was important to him. He put very little effort into his job. He was slick and seemed well versed in the used car salesman tricks. I would advise anyone who deals with this dealer and dealership to go somewhere else or at the very least, have your guard up and don't let them take advantage of you like they did to me. Make them earn your business. I had bought from Ken Garff Honda in Orem several times, all of which were fantastic experiences. Its too bad that it doesn't seem to run in the family. He left early without talking to finance or me to confirm everything the night before I was supposed to fly in from out of state to purchase the vehicle. <100 miles off the lot I got a maintenance warning for low DPF fluid, which either isn't part of an oil change or they lied to me that it had just been serviced. I asked salesman for help given I was traveling 400 miles and couldn't find any information online or in the owner's manual. His response was "buy some and fill it." Might as well told me to kiss his xxx. More

It has now been about 2 months and they still haven't fixed the issue and this morning is the 5th time I have taken it to get repaired. I can't even get a rental car from them because they claim to have none available and they also refuse to get one from a rental car company. Their customer service gets worse and worse with each visit. More

I had a great experience with Jon Gray, he worked with my juggling car choices. Jim drove a hard bargain, but we got on an agreeable price. The only down side was how long I was at the dealership; having went in at 2:45 or so, and not having finished up until 7:00 pm. More
Worst car buying experience ever We went in looking for a car and found one we liked, after deciding that is what we wanted we started the process of buying it and the process with th We went in looking for a car and found one we liked, after deciding that is what we wanted we started the process of buying it and the process with the salesman was a little longer then I thought it should be, I've bought new cars before and it was a lot faster then this, then they sent the paperwork to their finance people and they had it for over 4 hours so by now we have been at the dealership 6+ hours and there was only 1 other customer buying a car. They promised to put new tires and fix all the rim damage on the car, we let them take the car to get new tires on it and 3 days later they called us saying it's done, really it takes that long to get tires? Then we went to go pick up the car and nobody had any record of the car being at the dealership and nobody knew where the keys were to the car we had just purchased, we spend the next hour at the dealership while they tried to find the car keys. The car was purchased weeks ago and still they have not fixed the rim damage to the car that was promised in the contract, the communication at this dealership are very poor they say they will call you tomorrow with an answer on something and then 4 days later they finally get around to calling you, if you go here plan on waiting around for a very long time, they do things on their own time and at their own convenience, I usually like garff dealers but after this experience I don't think I can recommend them to anyone or ever buy a car here again.
