Poor service Watch out. Took my Mazda in for service because the service engine ilght was on. Asked if work was guaranteed. They said yes. Paid $550.00 to do the Watch out. Took car home and the service engine light came back on. Took the car back to Lake Lanier Mazda. For an additional $1100.00 they could repair it.. Out my money and still no satisfaction. More
terrible customer service We brought in our Mazda CX-7 for a recall that was supposed to only take 2 hours. We dropped it off at 11:30 at 4:00 we called to check on it because We brought in our Mazda CX-7 for a recall that was supposed to only take 2 hours. We dropped it off at 11:30 at 4:00 we called to check on it because no one had called us and was told it would be ready in 1 hour when it should have already have been ready. So we run a few errands and are almost at the dealership and call at 5:20 to to be sure it's ready and then we are told that one of the parts they ordered was wrong. Not one time in that hour and twenty minutes did they bother to call and tell us that the part was wrong like they should have done as soon as they knew they had the wrong part. In all reality we should have known hours earlier because we dropped the car off at 11:30 for a two hour repair. I was very unhappy with the service I received I was told we would be given a courtesy car to drive also for that day and it ended up being a rental car that I had to put a deposit on and then I had to pay for the insurance on it so it wasn't free at all so I don't see why I should send anyone to you to repair anything when you receive the level of service that we were shown. You can look at the Enterprise car rental receipt and see where I was charged for the insurance I gave a copy of it to someone there! Mazda sending you the incorrect part still has nothing to do with the fact that I dropped the car off at 11:30 and it should have been ready at the latest by 3 but when I called at 4 you were working on it then and then didn't realize until after 5 that you had the wrong part and I wouldn't have known if I had not called when I was on my way there to pick it up because when you realized you had the wrong part you didn't bother to pick up the phone and call me first! More
The most frustrating experience I have been trying to get a price quote from these folks for over two weeks now. First, there was AJ, an internet sales consultant, that gave me the run around for the better part of a week asking me when I would come up and see them. I finally called and spoke with AJ, told him I had a quote from another dealer and I'd like to see what they could do. AJ then put me in touch with Marvin who proceeded to ask me a bunch of irrelevant questions (via email). I finally said to Marvin, you have the quote I provided AJ, do you want to try to beat it? He assured me that was the case and I could expect a quote from him shortly. A week or so later and I am still waiting. Complete waste of time. If you are going to have an internet department then it really should be a no brainer getting quotes to interested parties. If I could have given them 0 stars as a rating for my customer experience, I would have. At least Bill Igbal reached out to me, but it was too late. Frankly, I'd rather walk then turn over any of my hard earned money to this group. There are plenty of other dealers out there and if Mazda Lake Lanier keeps this kind of behavior up with other customers, they won't be around for long More

AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE I ALSO PURCHASED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SINCE THE CAR WAS A I HAVE A MAZDA CX5 WHICH I PURCHASED AT MALL OF GEORGIA IN BUFORD. AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE I ALSO PURCHASED THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SINCE THE CAR WAS A COUPLE OF YEARS OLD. RECENTLY, THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE HEATING. I TOOK IT TO MAZDA DEALERSHIP IN GAINESVILLE (LANIER CADILLAC AND MAZDA) BECAUSE I DIDN’T WANT TO DRIVE TO BUFORD AND LANIER MAZDA WAS CLOSER. WHEN I GOT THERE EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD CHECK IT OUT. I WENT TO THE WAITING AREA AND WAITED 3 HOURS AND DECIDED TO GO CHECK WITH THE SHOP ON THE STATUS. THE GUY TOLD ME IT WAS BEING WASHED FOR ME AND IT SHOULD ONLY BE A FEW MINUTES MORE. I NOTICED A CAR LIKE MINE IN THE PARKING AREA, BUT DIDN’T ASKED IF IT WAS MINE BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY WERE WASHING IT. SO I GO BACK TO THE WAITING AREA AND WAITED OVER ANOTHER HOUR. I AGAIN DECIDED TO GO AND SEE WHAT THE HOLD UP WAS. THIS TIME THEY TOLD ME THEY COULDN’T FIND THE PAPERWORK AND THEY SHOULD FIND IT SOON. NEEDLESS TO SAY, BY THIS TIME I WAS GETTING A LITTLE IRRITATED. SO I TOLD THEM THEY COULD MAIL ME THE INVOICE BECAUSE I HAD TO GO. WHEN ASKED WHERE MY CAR WAS THEY POINTED TO THE PARKING AREA. SO THE CAR I SAW PARKED OUTSIDE WAS MY CAR. IT HAD BEEN READY FOR WHO KNOWS HOW MANY HOURS AND NO ONE SAID A THING TO ME. I ASSUMED THAT THEY HAD FIXED THE PROBLEM, BUT OH NO, THE NEXT WEEK THE SAME THING HAPPENED. SO WHO KNOWS IF THEY ACTUALLY CHECKED IT OUT. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY CAR BACK TO THAT DEALERSHIP EVER. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WORKING THERE. More

Great service I went in for a cabin filter change. Since I live over an hour away I had my oil changed also. The wait was going to be 1 1/2 hours. So we asked fo I went in for a cabin filter change. Mary, one of the service techs took us and dropped us off. When we were finished I called and she picked us up. It made the wait go by very quickly. It's a great dealership. More
Rear brake scam We have a 2014 Mazda CX-5 bought new in Feb 2013 in Maryland. We retired and moved to Georgia in Dec 2014. Since then we have had regular services don We have a 2014 Mazda CX-5 bought new in Feb 2013 in Maryland. We retired and moved to Georgia in Dec 2014. Since then we have had regular services done at Lake Lanier Mazda and are pleased with their courteous and quick service. However on this last visit Dec 29 something occurred that shakes my faith in Mazda in general and the Lake Lanier dealership in specific. With 62,000 miles on the vehicle we we told the front brakes were just fine but the rears needed rotors and calipers. What! I believe you I said but have you ever heard of rear brakes wearing out before fronts. No of course not! And according to 2 service advisers and 1 service technician neither had they. After getting home and checking the Internet I come to find out their response must be BS. Mazda had early on issued 2 TSBs about this rear brake problem with a final TSB 04-005/15 discussing the design flaw and extending brake replacement warranty to 3/36,000. Of course I am way out of warranty but may not have been a year or so ago. My fault there I suppose but Mazda could have been a bit more proactive. As for the suddenly silent service advisors either they didn't know about a TSB and are thus lacking in knowledge or they did and are thus lacking in integrity. I feel I should be given some recompense for this $600 outlay. Maybe half in future Mazda service. More
Blatantly lied to about the price of a vehicle. Nice well dressed polite but dishonest salespeople. I negotiated a price with them and they refused to honor it. Unless you really enjoy people who don't tell the truth, don't come here. More
