I have been looking for a new car for awhile. I was so happy with the dealership and the sales team that I purchased my car at Jim Norton Toyota. I have been to all of the other OKC dealerships and didn't feel the no-pressure professionalism that I felt at Jim Norton. Thank you and I love my new Toyota Prius. J. Sanders P.S. I spoke via phone with him about a part for my Sequoia; at his invitation, I drove to the dealership and together we looked at his computer screen(s) until we found the correct replacement part that I needed. He told me he would order it immediately (this was a Friday) and that the part would be available to me by Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. So I called Joe on Tuesday at 10:15. I was pleasantly surprised when he told me he had the part with my name on it and to "come on over". The part was the correct one, the price was what he had told me, and I was in and out in fifteen minutes. What I also especially liked was that Joe LISTENED to me as I explained the problem; he did not interrupt me and only asked a few questions. I like that! Add to that the fact that he did what he said he would do (and on time) with no excuses or surprises. Norton Toyota needs to recognize Joe for his outstanding service and because he is a very important and positive public relations resource for their dealership. So recognize him is some positive way!! Thank you, Joe for your help. I will return the next time I need quality help and service. More
Just Say No!!!! This is the first time I have ever written a review that was negative but here it goes. DISCLAIMER: This is for the salesman and the sales manage This is the first time I have ever written a review that was negative but here it goes. DISCLAIMER: This is for the salesman and the sales management area. I am extremely upset with this location and how they handle customer service. I was very excited to find a car that I loved at the Jim Norton Toyota OKC location. I purchased a brand new Scion xB and while our sales person was very nice and helped me find the right car, he led me to believe that the car came with navigation although it was not installed, I just had to call and take it in and they would install it with a CD. When I called to set up the installation I was told that it would be no problem. I made the appointment to take my car in and two days before they called and said I didn't have the right model according to my VIN # but that they would still be able to get it installed. I went in and Rita, who seems to be very nice, met me and told me that since it wasn't on the MSRP sheet that she would have to have JR, the new car sales department manager, take a look and see what they needed to do. I never saw JR. They had me wait for an hour and a half to tell me that not only were they not going to install the navigation that they led me to believe was a simple cd installation, but that if I wanted navigation at all, I would have to pay $1,467 to have a different radio system put in and they sent our original sales person to deliver this information. While I understand that there could have been a cost for this, it was implied from the get go that there would not be one, as the radio screen said I needed to call service for installation. I'm not upset because it was going to cost additional money per se, I am upset over the customer service and the blatant disregard for my time as they checked on me a few times while I waited and never mentioned there was a problem. Just that they were working to resolve it. I came in to their location, did everything they asked and waited patiently while they were "working it out" only to be brought an invoice that had an additional total of $1,202.96 plus a handwritten additional amount of $265 (which doesn't show what that's for at all), and told we would have to pay that to get the navigation and that I must have misunderstood when he said that they would install it. There was not trade value for the brand new system already installed either. We were not allowed to speak to the manager as he was unavailable and Rita, who we had been working with, was suddenly not available either. My husband was very upset and we left. We tried to call and talk to the manager after that and was sent to voicemail. No one returned our call. I would have been happy to figure out a way for it to work for everyone but wasn't ever even given the chance. I will NEVER buy a car from them again and I would recommend that anyone looking for a Toyota or Scion, go somewhere else!!!!! Now back to that DISCLAIMER, the Finance department was awesome and I have yet to really deal with the service department, as I haven't hit the oil change time yet. I hope that they are much better than the sales department. I hope this helps someone in the future. If anyone in the sales department would like to make it right, I am more than happy to try. Thank you. More
Two Strikes My first experience with Jim Norton was when I purchased a new 2013 Sienna from them after buying from Hudiburg for years. After hours of cat and mou My first experience with Jim Norton was when I purchased a new 2013 Sienna from them after buying from Hudiburg for years. After hours of cat and mouse I finally got my van bought. When I took it in for a service after the sale, Kyle Montgomery wrote DIFFICULT on my work order. I never got a follow up call from the dealership after my purchase and have never been contacted since. Today, 9-26-2015, I went in to have my Tundra serviced. While there, I saw a used Mazda I was interested in. I went over to sales and was met by two salesmen much younger than me. I asked about the Mazda. The first salesman looked me over and turned to the second salesman and said "do you know how to drive a stick". I assumed I wasn't worth his time in his experience as a salesman. Reluctantly, the second salesman went for the keys. I explained to the salesman that I was a returning customer hoping he wouldn't treat me like the first "up" of the day. No such luck. Since he never introduced himself, I asked for his card. He said he didn't have any. What kind of salesman doesn't have a card. He didn't even offer to write his name on someone else's card. I guess he wasn't interested in hearing from me either. I don't know why, but I felt unimportant, gave him my name and told him I was on their computer hoping he would realize I've spent thousands of dollars there in sales and service. Maybe he 'd give me a follow up call. Nope, cause he never asked for my phone number. I take my Toyota's here because I live a few blocks away but I will never buy another vehicle from Jim Norton again. More
Best new car experience ever! I went there to test drive a Highlander Hybrid and ended up buying from them. JP and JR made me an offer that I couldn't refuse. The whole process w I went there to test drive a Highlander Hybrid and ended up buying from them. JP and JR made me an offer that I couldn't refuse. The whole process was short and sweet. I was given a bottom line price, which no other dealer in the OKC metro or Dallas area, could match. They didn't try to sell me any additional warranty or extended service plans. They shipped my car from an out-of-state dealer by truck and had it here in 3 days. They also gave me a decent price on my trade in. All-in-all, a great new car buying experience! More
Unprofessional Employees and a Waste of My Time WORTH THE READ: Would give 0 stars if possible. The Jim Norton Toyota dealership completely wasted my time and their employees are extremely unprofe WORTH THE READ: Would give 0 stars if possible. The Jim Norton Toyota dealership completely wasted my time and their employees are extremely unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment to see a very specific vehicle. When arriving at the scheduled appointment time, the employee I made the appointment with had already left work for the day, and the vehicle I was there to test drive had been given to someone else to test drive overnight. BOTH the individual I had an appointment with AND the vehicle I was there to see were nowhere to be found. An obvious failure in communication on their part resulting in a complete waste of my time. The following day I received a phone call from Jim Norton Toyota and spoke with an employee named Jasmine. Jasmine wanted to know how my test drive went and if I purchased anything (they are still failing to communicate). I explained to Jasmine that no, we had not purchased anything, told her what happened the day before, and told her that overall visiting the Jim Norton Toyota dealership had been a waste of my time. She responded by hanging up on me. I promptly left my work, got in the car and drove 35 mins to complain to the manager about the unprofessionalism of his employees and how their dealership would never get my business. He said he would take care of the issue and would call me the following day to follow through on my complaint…he never called (strike number 3 on their communication skills). Jasmine still works there (she continues to call my wife’s phone) and their employees’ lack of respect lost them my business. I would highly discourage anyone from purchasing from this dealership; actually I would highly discourage anyone from even going there and having their time wasted. Take your business to a different dealership that respects their customers and values their time. More

I walked out with a one time used 2010 Toyota with no problems. Garfield helped me get a great car for a great price (almost $3,000 off the Kelly Blue Book price to be exact). I would definitely recommend going here! They were great with customers and found the perfect car for me! More
