Poor Customer Service On August 15th I was caught in a flash flood while driving and my engine seized and needed to be replaced. I had the car towed to the Hyundai dealership close to me because I believed they would be the most trustworthy and I would receive the best customer service given that my car was just over a year old and my family has purchases or leased 5 Hyundai’s over the past several years. This assumption very quickly proved to be false. It is now September 28 and I still don’t have a car. Good luck getting a straight answer from anyone you speak to, if you can even get a phone call or email returned. One day I was told that due to the terms of my lease I would require a brand-new engine, several weeks later I was told that no, a re-manufactured engine was fine and would meet the lease terms no problem. Then I was told the re-manufactured engines were readily available and they were ordering it for me that very day because they just got approval from my insurance company and they would be expediting shipping, only to be told the following week by the service guy that he personally ordered the re-manufactured engine a long time ago and was on back order and that was why it wasn’t yet finished. My insurance claims adjuster couldn't even figure out the story and said that he wouldn't recommend this dealership to any of his customers. No matter who you speak to, you will get a completely different story. The only conclusion I can come to is that they are either extremely disorganized and lack communication, or someone is not being truthful and trying to cover up a mistake. Neither option is a good one. The final nail in the coffin was when they refused to provide a loaner car given that it is now going on 6 weeks, my insurance rental benefits have expired, and I am now incurring rental costs that will not be reimbursed. In fact, I was told by the service manager not to worry because my insurance company would cover additional days over my policy terms (I’ve spoken to the insurance company, and no, they don’t do this.) Not only have they lost the confidence and business of a family of 5 Hyundai cars, but they now have a disgruntled customer. Please do not underestimate quality customer service. More

In and out quickly! My experience started off through a CapOne preapproval email then by phone/email with one agent and manager before I decided to come in. Right before I've arrived, the agent I spoke with and whom I was going to meet was totally different. I received a text from another sales agent which made me feel a little uneasy because I had already explained what my plans were with the previous agent and then had to explain again.... The sales agent, Dennovan, I ended up working with was great as far as no time wasted! with his fast pace nature! Although, I am slower in making sure I understand the process and what was happening. Dennovan made sure to pause if I had a question or needed something explained. He was open to any question and if he didnt know, he found it out! I left feeling easy and secure that my choice in Jenkins Hyundai was a good one! And if there are any issues they will take care of me and my family! Thank you.. More

My Salesman, Dan Sharpe, service and friendliness was beyond reproach. For every question I had, if he did not know the answer, he found out immediately. His professionalism during the sale, and his knowledge of showing how each aspect of the functions of the vehicle, were beyond reproach. I would rate Dan as one of the best and most professional salesman that I have ever dealt with. Definite asset to Jenkins Hyundai. Glen, Phil, Jeff, Sales Manager, were very helpful in coming up with the vehicle and price negotiations I was looking for. Definitely, I will be back again due to the team I dealt with this time. We were able to tour their brand new facility then take a extended test drive of the Santa Fe around Jacksonville which set it apart from other SUVs we tested during the buying process. Jenkins Hyundai was a low-pressure dealer, there were no gimmicks, bait-and-switch, etc. We ended up trading in our vehicle instead of selling it privately, and were given an above KBB offer. Would definitely recommend Jenkins Hyundai and Dennovan Commons to anyone in the car market in Jacksonville, you will be treated properly and have a great experience. More
