Hello Sorry the car you wanted sold. It is our policy not to hold our pre-owned cars for any reason. We believe a sale is when the customer looks at the car, drives the car, agrees to the condition and ,completes all paper work and pays for the car. Until these steps are complete the car is not sold. While there are always reasons customers want us to take cars off the market,. our policy is the same on ever deal. We dont think this is unethical, we are upfront and let ever customer know that we dont hold cars. With our market base pricing, which means very aggressive pricing, we are ask to hold cars all the time and explain to everyone that we can not hold them but we will call you if the car sales before you start to travel. I hope you can understand where we are coming from, before this policy started, we would be holding cars with over half of them falling through. Todd Crabtree

We were told that if the car was still there on Friday, it would be held. We were also previously told at one time the car would be held if we bought airplane tickets and sent a copy to Marc via email. He also knew that a cashier's check had been cut to Jeff Haas Mazda which, in my opinion, indicates we were serious. After all this, he still suggested we come out as there were other cars available. It all seems too coincidental that a car suddenly sells 3 hours before we left home. I am surprised he did not let us drive out there and say 'oops'. Honestly, I am glad we did not buy the car now as I had a sensation that something was not right. You can justify the situation any way you care to, but it is not the way to do business. John

John It does sound like Marc could of handles his wording better. What he was trying to say, we dont hold cars, but we wont sell it out from under you once you have started driving here. If there is anything i can do to make you feel better let me know. We try to do business the right way, and this type of complaint, we take to heart. That being said you admit that you were told of out policy. What else could we do other than ignoring our policy. Todd

Sorry you lost out on the car you wanted. Our policy is we dont hold cars. We were in contact with you every day updating the status of the car you wanted. It sold on friday, we called as soon as it was sold. We we upfront and honest the whole time. We believe in being upfront and telling the customers upfront we dont hold cars. Do to our market base pricing our cars sell very fast. We suggest if you found what you like here, dont wait till the weekend. Come and get it before it sells.

Frauduent This is a very frauduent and untrue review.. Our reviews are real, written by hundreds of happy customers. I am the general manager and i have never talked to you one time. I recommend you take it to another Mazda dealer for a inspection. Then if you still feel the same way, give me a call. We strive to take care of all of our customers, even someone that makes statements like you have here. Think about what you are saying, not only is it so untrue, what would be to gain from us. Lets be sensible, get a second opinion, then get in contact with me. Todd Crabtree

Bibi responded

I do not need a second opinion to know my car has been sabotaged. It appears you have already contacted Keith because Keith suggested the same thing which to me doesn't even make any sense. I don't know what Part of my complaint is not understood. This is very simple, I drove in there in a good driving car, for an oil change and fluid flush, but then, drove out with a suspension and timing chain problem same day! I mean come on!!! I don't need a second opinion for that? Your dealership confirmed the timing chain issue, and the suspension issue to be the struts. The timing chain was repaired, which according to Keith I wasn't going to be liable for, because it was still under warranty etc. If I am still complaining about the timing chain, I expect that it should be checked again rather than tell me to get a second opinion. That doesn't even make any sense! This timing was fixed only a few weeks ago for Pete sake! Go back and fix the recurring issue, don't tell me to get a second opinion for what you fixed? Good heavens!! Now about the struts, mind you the purpose of my visit was to get an oil change and flush. My car was in perfect condition, and I mean perfect condition! So tell me why or how as soon as I drove out of your lot my steering wheel was loose and the tires bumpy? This was only seconds after I received my car. I am not stupid! I might be a black woman with an accent but this woman is vastly read, I am close to my 40''s and I have driven so many cars in my lifetime that I have lost count of. I know how to take good care of my vehicles and when I meet fraudulent dealerships such as yours, I know exactly what my rights are as a consumer and how to follow through with a litigation if the dealership refuses to cooperate. I am only requesting that my struts be replaced. There is a routine check you do to vehicles and mine got 100% when I got the oil change. Even Cynthia herself confirmed it and had told me my car was in perfect condition adding I am doing a good job maintains the car, and this was during the oil change. I agreed with her because, of cause I know my car. Drives smooth, no issues just like a brand new vehicle. To think when I came back to complain about the steering and bumpiness, I was made to pay for an alignment I did not approve of. I only asked them to check to see if I needed an alignment or a wheel balance, next thing I saw was a bill for an alignment job,Wow! To think that was the second time they did something to my car without my consent. The first time they went into the computer area of the vehicle to adjust something, without first consorting with me the owner! Claiming there was a recall, so what? At least I should consent to that repair or service. By the way, if the dealership is claiming my struts are bad, why wasn't it detected during the alignment check? Or even during the fluid flush and oil change? That's because there was nothing wrong with my car. I have heard of certain dealerships that do this disservice to clueless women, all in a bid to have these innocent women or persons pay more money. Unfortunately I am not going to accept that. I refuse to be a victim of fraud! All I am asking is for my struts to be put back in. The struts on my vehicle at this moment is not the one that was originally on my vehicle, obviously, so I want my good struts put back. And then I want the timing chain rechecked and repaired. I still have room for some reconciliation if you guys will just simply do the right thing. I have never had any issues with any mazda dealership, call joe Meyers, call mazda of stockton, I have a very good relationship with these guys because they gave me good service. Joe Meyers is 30mins away from where I live, Jeff haas is about 15mins or less, hence I chose Jeff haas over joe Meyers for my second oil change since moving to houston from California. Little did I know I was walking into the lions den of fraud. Joe Meyers had recommended the flush and now, I wish I had just let them do it. Mazda of stockton did my first flush and again no problems with them whatsoever! I trusted mazda, otherwise I would have taken my vehicle to places like meineke etc. with this horrible experience I have had with Jeff Hass, that trust is wavered. Like I said, I do not want to be hasty in filing a law suit, that won't be necessary if you guys are willing to work with me to resolve this pending issue.
