I drove my daughters car to the dealership. I told the service advisor some issues and she said it might be the battery. Service department had my daughters car for 16 hours. Couldn't get passe I told the service advisor some issues and she said it might be the battery. Service department had my daughters car for 16 hours. Couldn't get passed the low battery voltage code to diagnose other problems. So, I spoke with a service advisor supervisor and he checked his computer for details. The supervisor said I had to purchase a $255 GM (only) battery +tax+install... before the tech can finish the diagnostic. I told the supervisor what I was experiencing and he thought it might be the battery as well. I told the supervisor that I didn't understand why it took 16 hours by professional techs that you and the other service advisor lady diagnosed in 30 seconds, to only be a battery issue. I told the service people, thank you for your help, but I will purchase and install the battery that is rated for the car and the weather in my location. I paid the diagnostic fee and left. I rated this dealership 1 star because a zero star wasn't an option. I will never go back to that dealership. More
