When walking in for an oil change, you base whether you want to wait or come back based on the time. I get things happen, I’m not unreasonable. But when you’re told 1-1:45 hours and it takes 3:00. Delivery of new Escalade had scuff marks on one wheel (onyx package). This was missed prior to delivery. Service dept made accommodations (with loaner) for me to drive 2hrs to drop off & pick up vehich (onyx package). This was missed prior to delivery. Service dept made accommodations (with loaner) for me to drive 2hrs to drop off & pick up vehichle to repair wheel... I was appreciative of repair and loaner! On pick up, the wheel repair was perfect. I noticed an area behind wheel well that looks like it was damaged with wax buffer. There were grounded grooves in molding. This was a second miss for a QA responsibility prior to delivery. I pointed out to Rachel, who was VERY responsive and offered multiple options to correct. I declined. Declined because: 1. service department delivered sub par 2x 2. already drove 4hrs was not amenable to driving 4 more 3. Even if delivered to me at my home, my vehicle would be rolling miles for failure on the part of service department. The scuff marks are minimal, but I know they are there on a brand new vehicle. It's disappointing, but life is to short to sweat that level of defect long enough for me to share my experience should someone ask. More
