I went out on a Saturday to test drive two cars, a Jaguar and an Audi. I decided to go to Plano in order to escape the typical Highland Park "sales" experience. I knew I wanted one of these two cars, but not sure which model of either. I walked into the Park Place Jaguar dealership and had the good fortune of meeting Paul Light. Paul was super nice, down to earth and I knew right away he was my guy. His only objective was to find the right Jaguar that would make me fall in love. We started off in the XFR. Since, I would be going from a very sporty AMG S63 Mercedes, he thought I would appreciate the supercharged engine and dynamic drive experience of this car. He was right! I loved it! Unfortunately, I have two kids and thought it would be more practical to go to the bigger sedan in the XJ. Reading my mind, Paul asked if price was an object, I said "let's fall in love with the car first and then we'll worry about the price." We then drove the XJ Supercharged V6. Great car. Beautiful car. Just not quite the right one for me. He said alright then let's try the XJL Supercharged V8. Again, LOVED this car, but now it seemed a little too long and big for a gal like me. Patiently, he said, well this car comes in a shorter wheel base, would you like to try it? Now, driving my fourth car, yes, of course, I'm a woman, I want to weigh all of my options. This was it!!! Perfect in every way! Only one thing, I want it in white with black interior. After searching the entire country that car was not available anywhere. Knowing he was going to let me leave the dealership without a new car, Paul said Alyson, I think you should wait until next week, we will have your exact car to your specifications only in an XJR. More money, but again, Paul wanted me to be PERFECTLY happy. So I left, but as I left, I said to myself, I'm not going to the Audi dealership, I'm going to buy a Jaguar and it's going to be from Paul Light! When I returned 10 days later, upon seeing the XJR it wasn't the right car for me. The black wheels were too masculine, BUT, there on the showroom floor was a silver, chrome wheeled XJ Supercharged V8 that stopped me in my tracks! I said Paul what car is this?!?! He said it's the car you want, but it's NOT white! I said, who cares?!?! It's beautiful!!! I LOVE it!!! We took it for a spin. Paul even let me drive it home to show my kids and husband. They LOVED it!!! End of the story,,,I have a beautiful new Jaguar XJ Supercharged V8 in my driveway and a great new friend in my contact book! Thank you so much Paul! You are WONDERFUL!!!! More
My wife and I just stopped in to look at a Jaguar XF that interested me as I didn't know much about the Jaguar line. Upon arrival we were met by Paul Light. I don't usually make quick decissions, but I realize that this was one of the cars that was on my short list and Paul told me about the benefits of the XF and Park Place Jaguar. We soon agreed on a price and I returned the next day to pick it up. And I am extremly happy that Paul was our sales person. He made the process of buying a car painless. More

Driving by, I noticed the car I had been looking for. I pulled in and in less than 2 hours, it was mine. There was NO going back and forth on price, they did an AMAZING job getting me the best rate they co pulled in and in less than 2 hours, it was mine. I'm likely a customer salespeople love/hate. Love as I am serious and when I shop for an auto, I'm certain to buy. Hate because I am diligent and very, very particular. My wife drives a MB ML350 and my daily driver is a BMW 328i M Sport (recently a MB E550). I travel extensively and the BMW resides more often at DFW than in my garage. I really enjoy a "weekend" car...one that is a thrill to drive, but one I typically drive only 4,000 miles/annually or so. I sold my Porsche 911S about 6 months ago and had researched extensively the 2014 F Type. Never found a disparaging comment - and the enthusiasts on various web sites seemed to be simply giddy when they took it to the track. The looks....and that exhaust package....wow. Knew it was the car for me. I visited ParkPlace of Plano and spoke with a salesman about the F Type. I backed away for a month or two, business getting in my way...and received a call from Paul Light one day informing me the salesman I had worked with moved on and inquiring as to if there was anything he could do to pick the conversation up again. I was still very interested....visited Paul and then, likely tested his mettle. You see, I am a very discerning (I'll use that word as it sounds better) buyer. I want the right car, the right packaging...and I want to feel good about the deal. So, after several visits, numerous calls and myriad emails, I found exactly what I wanted. Paul had followed all my searches....helped me narrow the cars to one or two....and even after I had decided upon the Firesand Orange - I still vascillated. Ultimately, I found the Black Amethyst with Camel seats that undoubtedly was the car for me. While the F Type to some degree sells itself - the beauty of the car itself - the 8 cyl. 495 HP engine - and then, that exhaust package (beautiful sounds), I still needed a great salesman to close the deal. Paul was ever willinig to answer all my many questions and concerns. He never waivered through my many indecisions. But this is what great salespeople do. Paul obviously loves his work...and he is an enthusiast as I am. It is exciting to buy a car like this, but it is also a real pleasure to work with someone as accommodating and patient as Paul Light. I advise anyone looking for a Jaguar to ask for Paul! More

Within 5 min. the sales consultant came to ask if I needed help. Liked that he gave me a few minutes before coming to me rather than as soon as I stepped out of my car. He acted very excited about the product that he was selling which, in MY eyes, made me feel more sure of my decision to buy it. Everyone I came in contact with were extremely friendly and made sure whether there was something I needed or not. I even had a man that came to put Leonard's name on his office window ask if I needed anything. Was VERY impressed by that and I wish I had found out his name so you would know what employee it was that did that so he could be commended for it. Hard to find employees like that. I know, I own a business! Will have NO problem sending someone interested in a Jaguar to this dealership! More
