I took my 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander to Jacobs Mitsubishi in Wesley Chapel, FL for a synthetic oil change and computerized vehicle diagnostic report and a 27-point inspection, as advertised. However, I was disappointed to find that I did not received 27-point inspection services. In the past, I have taken my car to the Mitsubishi dealer in Lakeland, FL, and I have always been happy with the service I have received. The staff at the Lakeland dealer always performs a courtesy car wash, checks the air pressure in my car tires, and vacuums out my car. They also take the time to explain the services that are being performed and answer any questions that I have. At Jacobs Mitsubishi, I did not receive any of these courtesy services(I am not expecting...) and did not received what paid for . The staff did not perform a 27-point inspection, and they did not check the air pressure in my tires. I understand that Jacobs Mitsubishi is a new location, and they may still be working out the kinks. However, I was disappointed with the service that I received. I would not recommend Jacobs Mitsubishi to my friends or family. Here are some specific suggestions for improvement: Jacobs Mitsubishi should make sure that their staff are performing all of the services that are advertised, and paid for. I hope that Jacobs Mitsubishi will take my feedback into consideration and improve their service. More
An easy experience. I found the car I want, I called the dealership, Curtis called me back and one we went. Flew down from Dallas to sign papers - which were all ready. This would have been a potential 5-star review, until this happened. After purchasing my new vehicle on May 19, On June 6, I get a phone call from my former bank that I used to finance my trade-in vehi this happened. After purchasing my new vehicle on May 19, On June 6, I get a phone call from my former bank that I used to finance my trade-in vehicle. The former bank told me that the loan on my former vehicle had NOT yet been paid off. Yes that's correct, 19 days later!. I called Jacobs back and spoke w/ accounting who informed me that they overnighted the pay-off check. They overnighted said check on June 6. I then told accounting to make sure that they contacted the former bank to make sure they had the EXACT pay-off amount, so i would not be stuck "holding the bag" on past due payments; which Jacobs Mitsubishi - Wesley Chapel, is currently responsible for. The Accounting Dept. representative said "yes that's actually a good point" and that they would make sure we get that difference amount sent by way of a second check!! Can you believe this non-sense?? A second check! They didn't have the foresight to contact the bank for the new pay-off amount that had accrued, after they dropped the ball almost 20 days later!! As of June 7, I had asked the accounting department to provide me with a copy of the second check and a copy of the tracking number; which they still failed to get to me!!. This dealership is singlehandedly responsible for messing up my perfect payment history with my former financier. Thank you very much for messing with my credit worthiness - through no fault of my own. And as of typing..the saga continues. Folks, make sure you tighten everything up with these people. Once again, proving that the customer is nothing more than a number. Thank you. More
Chris the service advisor has great communication skills and he treats people with respect. I purchased my van from New Port Richey and did service there.
