It was Friday late afternoon around 5:30. My wife and I were looking for a specific make/model of used vehicle we had seen on the Maxton Web site. We have always purchased new. However, with the high pri were looking for a specific make/model of used vehicle we had seen on the Maxton Web site. We have always purchased new. However, with the high price of new vehicles coupled with the drive off depreciation, a quality used vehicle was in our future. Champ explained his experience in the car market and why our targeted vehicle probably would not be a good choice. We explained our reasoning for that particular vehicle. Champ then showed us the inventory of used vehicles that might fit our requirements but focusing on one vehicle. He was spot on. We drove it. Fell in love with it. Bought it. We drove it home that evening. The real deal was after. There were items that we (Champ, My Wife and I) agreed required attention. They were minor items. Still, they were something that could have easily fallen to the wayside. Champ took care of them without prompting. My wife and I do not like to fuss with shopping. I went to Jack Maxton to get my first car. I have never bought a car before so I was super excited. I got a 2004 Chevy Aveo, it was silver. Bad news... I didn’t even make it home. It was horrible, especially for it being my first car experience. I was heart-broken. This was my worst fear and it came true. I was sold a bad car. That is a problem. But I am glad that it happened 10 minutes after getting it instead of 2 days after. The car dealership is supposed to check the cars before selling them. Obviously they didn’t check this one too much. And in the end obviously I went to a different dealership and bought a different car that runs and I love! More
