Did unapproved services Went in because of a recall, otherwise I had no need to visit, as I do the regular maintenance on my Honda CRV. But, it's 100 degrees everyday, so I s Went in because of a recall, otherwise I had no need to visit, as I do the regular maintenance on my Honda CRV. But, it's 100 degrees everyday, so I said why not pay for oil and a filter this once. Well I'll tell you. They did 2 other things without calling or mentioning them to me and DOUBLED my bill. Even though I did not have the best customer service experience with the management at Jack Ellena Honda, I would still recommend this dealership beca Even though I did not have the best customer service experience with the management at Jack Ellena Honda, I would still recommend this dealership because I love the vehicle I now own, and I appreciate the hard work and honesty of my Product Specialist, Lake Stewart, who at only 21 years old, showed professionalism, interest in me as a customer and ensuring that I found the vehicle I wanted, and followed up with me. It was because of Lake Stewart that I bought my 2018 HR-V from Jack Ellena Honda. The New Car Sales Manager, Charlie Henry, who didn't even introduce himself personally to me or greet me on the day I signed my paperwork, Finance Director, Brandon Sturgeon, who never introduced himself to me, and even John Ellena, himself, who was in the dealership the afternoon I bought my new vehicle, didn't even take the time to acknowledge me when I bought my new vehicle and proudly rang the gong in their showroom after signing my paperwork. I guess if you don't finance your vehicle through Jack Ellena Honda, the "higher ups" don't really care about you. That is certainly how I felt throughout this car buying experience. Dang, at least they could have had my vehicle prepped properly when I was ready to drive it off the lot. Nope--that didn't happen either. The gas tank was about half full, and I could have done a better detailing job myself. My Product Specialist, Lake Stewart, personally drove me across Iowas Street in very heavy rush hour traffic to fuel up my vehicle so I could drive home to Kansas City! I guess the guys in the dealer prep department were busy doing something else? I would also like to give a shout out to Jeanie Wheelock, Director of First Impressions, for asking my fiance and I if we would like a cold drink on a nearly 100 degree day. So, if I didn't love my new vehicle so much, appreciated Lake's dedication to making the sale, and Jeanie's simple act of kindness, I would have probably purchased from another dealership. Customer service is still important, in my book--even from management. More

Thom iseems like a genuinely good guy and didn’t make us feel pressured or hurried and the pretty twilight blue 5-year-old CRV that we ended up with feels and drives like new. The mechanics at Jack Ellena do a very professional and thorough tune-up on the used cars they sell. I feel confident that this car will last us a very long time, but if we need to buy another one, we’ll go to Jack Ellena. More
