Oil Change I got my oil changed on my 2001 Honda Accord and my 2001 Honda Civic, both purchased at Jack Ellena. I think that all went well except for the fact I got my oil changed on my 2001 Honda Accord and my 2001 Honda Civic, both purchased at Jack Ellena. I think that all went well except for the fact that the mechanic broke the oil cap on the Civic. So , after some discussion it seems like they plan to get me a new cap since after all it does not cost much. Tanner is a new service writer. He is nice and really tries hard but he has a lot to learn about service writing. He is being taught by Dennis who is superlative so there is great hope that Tanner will turn out great! Yes, I must like Ellena Honda since I have been coming back for 17 years and I have a full time belt etc change out scheduled for Thursday for my Accord and then my Civic. I trust these guys. Breaking the cap cost them one star; otherwise they are perfect! More

Horrible Customer Service Tanner either has a lack of customer service skills or doesn’t like to deal with certain customers!! The vehicle I purchased from Jack Ellena Honda ne Tanner either has a lack of customer service skills or doesn’t like to deal with certain customers!! The vehicle I purchased from Jack Ellena Honda needed service. The engine light was on and the car kept stopping. So we go to the obvious place where we purchased the car. The first thing Tanner says is did you take it across the street. No we purchased the vehicle here so of course we come here. He says we’re booked our main line guys are gone. We only have a tech lube guy. We are pretty booked until next Saturday . So I say you’re telling me you can’t get me in until next Saturday he says I mean we can try Monday but we’ll have to call. So I’m like we need to speak with someone else. Is there a manager. He is not here. Who is the head person over this service area he says Dennis Griffin he is not here at this time. I say There is no one else to talk no . I’m the person until Dennis is back. But it gets better the owner of Jack Ellena is watching the whole scenario says nothing( I don’t know he’s the owner yet, see the big finale) I go inside to talk to the manager Ian he’s trying to see what he can do. The best they can do is keep the car. Someone will get to it on Monday. He says the weekends are not good to have an emergency. He says that the Main line techs are only there through the week. He wants to give us a loaner but John the owner says the last one went out. So I leave but I just don’t feel comfortable with how all this went . I go back in to explain this to Ian guess who now is out of the office “John”This is the big finale John is the man watching the scenario play it with Tanner and I. Not all of it, but he is there to hear there is a problem. So I’m explaining to Ian that I feel that we were treated poorly. Why did I have to jump through hoops to get our car looked at. BIG FINALE John says no ma’am I heard you , you asked for the manager over the service department. I’m livid at this point! Sir I asked for a manager. That’s when he said Dennis is his manager. Then I asked for someone other than him to talk to , he said he’s it. When there was in fact another manager available. But the owner himself seeing a customer is having an issue would be enough to have someone act. I have never had an experience such as this. It was nonchalant lackadaisical service. Like they didn’t care what we needed. After going through all that they kept the car and they’ll look at the car tomorrow. Which is all we wanted anyway. Why did It take all this? More
Excellent and fast Jack Ellena is the best dealership I have come across in a longtime, and yes I am a longtime Honda lover. New Car Smell When I went looking to trade in my 01’ Honda Civic the only car I wanted to see was another Honda Civic. Kai was able to provide a me with exactly wha When I went looking to trade in my 01’ Honda Civic the only car I wanted to see was another Honda Civic. Kai was able to provide a me with exactly what I wanted. The process took quite some time but that was due to an issue with someone previously purchasing the vehicle.. it was frustrating being told 5 more minutes when it took more like 2.5 hours. But overall, it was a great experience and when I had to go back to have my tires recalibrated they took care of everything. Thanks for being part of my car buying experience. #Honda4Life More
