I want to tell you about my recent experience with the integrity of Indy Honda. I had been given a quote for a new CR-V a while back. Since that quote was given, car prices increased significantly due t integrity of Indy Honda. I had been given a quote for a new CR-V a while back. Since that quote was given, car prices increased significantly due to the shortage of vehicles . However, I took a chance and called Indy Honda and spoke to a salesman to see if they could still honor that price, fully expecting that they probably could not. He said that he thought that they could, was busy and would call me right back. He didn’t. About a week later, I called and spoke with a different salesman and told him about the prior call and the prior quote. He said that he would talk with his manager to see if they could still honor it and would call me back. He called back with the good news that they still could sell it at that price. To make a long story short, he called back the next day (the day that we planned to purchase the vehicle) and said that they couldn’t. I followed this up with someone who I understood to be a manager, expressing my confusion about a manager approving it one day and wouldn’t honor it the next. Incredulous, and very disappointed, I decided to go up the line of management. I was again told that they couldn’t sell it at the price quoted. I am not sure why they focused on whether or not they could sell it at that price rather than addressing the integrity issue of agreeing to and then going back on their word. I then asked for the contact information for the next person up the management line, and received no reply. That was on 7/2/21, and, to date, still no reply. More

Joe provided excellent service in facilitating sale over the phone. I never set foot on the dealership lot, never saw the car until Joe delivered it to me. The deal went smooth and easy. Unbelievably bad experience with this dealership and the vehicle they sold me. Found a used car online I was interested in, went through 2 salespeople who both "chose to leave the dealership" the day after vehicle they sold me. The third salesman was fine, did the bare minimum to close the deal since I was already interested in the car. Completed the vehicle purchase on 4/28 - driver's visor and touch-screen entertainment system broken upon purchase, they agreed to replace. Less than 16 hours off the lot, the Oil Pressure light comes on and car starts chiming incessantly, won't stop. Took the car to the dealership for this repair and the other promised repairs - took them EIGHT DAYS to complete. 47 days later (just over 6 weeks), both the Check Engine light and the Airbag light come on. I take the car to a Chevrolet dealership to have them assess their own brand of car - they report a blocked & broken air intake tube and a faulty airbag control module. $1600 in repairs - both are verified to be mechanical (i.e. non-wear-and-tear) issues, so they should fall under the AutoGuard warranty I was sold with the vehicle. Chevy dealership calls the warranty company - they refuse to cover either issue, without explaining why. Chevy dealership also noted an additional $800 in service needs (transmission, fuel induction, H-VAC) that they said are maintenance issues that should have been taken care of by 40,000 miles (i.e. BEFORE I bought the car) but were not done. So, in conclusion: my experience with Indy Honda leads me to believe they do not take care of their used vehicles the way they say they do; they are comfortable selling vehicles with known issues and sticking the buyer with the repair issues and costs; and their "upsells" of warranties at financing are completely and utterly worthless. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS. More
Left car for 8:30 am appointment to do a software update. Supposed to be available by noon. Finally got a text in the late afternoon that it was ready. Took about half an hour to get the car. Software update didn't change the situation with the display monitor. Typical dealer experience. No charge because it was under warranty. More
