I was experiencing violent acceleration jerks and occasional stalling when the engine restarted after Start-Stop in a 2020 Buick Encore GX with a 1.3L engine and CVT. During that period, Mr. Dowdy kept us informed of the diagnosis progress. I appreciate the perseverance and dedication of Mr. Dowdy and the service team at Howard Bentley to represent the problem to GM, make associated test drive measurements, and execute a solution recommended by GM. Thus far, after one day, the drivability seems to be restored to what is expected. I have confidence that should the problem exhibit itself again that the Howard Bentley team would figure a solution. I absolutely loved the entire experience, from the time that I pulled into the parking lot to the day they called and told me that my car was ready. My car is under factory warranty and had an oil leak tha that I pulled into the parking lot to the day they called and told me that my car was ready. My car is under factory warranty and had an oil leak that involved the PCV valve and the valve cover. I took it to Donohoo Chevrolet in Fort Payne only to be told that diesels leak oil. I called and made an appointment with Howard Bentley and took it in, told them about the leak and showed them and they called me after they fixed it. Never once did they try to get out of doing the job or try to just blow my concern off like it wasn’t anything. I will never go anywhere else for anything, repair wise or even to buy a new vehicle!
