After getting "the bait and switch" at another dealer, my wife and I decided to pull into the Honda Dealership and see what they had to offer. Upon entering, we were engaged by Ellen, an energetic dealer, my wife and I decided to pull into the Honda Dealership and see what they had to offer. Upon entering, we were engaged by Ellen, an energetic and extremely friendly salesperson. We had explained to her that we were looking for our first lease and were unfamiliar with the process. Ellen took the time to cover ALL the bases while showing us what she thought we were looking for. She was on the money. The Civic EX we leased was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in a car. Ellen took all of the "scary process" stuff out of the equation. She explained on paper as well as verbally all of our options and gave us plenty of time to think, which we LOVED! We didn't feel pressured at all. After a test drive, we decided this was our car. Ellen expertly lead us through the process of all the paperwork and we drove our Civic home that afternoon. I even made it into work on time! Like everyone else, we didn't want to get "beat-up" leasing a car. We can easily recommend Staten Island Honda to our friends, and anyone who is looking for an easy no rush experience. I went to SI Honda since this where I bought my previous car in 2009. Like the last time this time around also I was not disappointed with the dealership. Walking to the storage area to actually look at the Odyssey before we did any paperwork. I overall rated the dealership as OK, but my personal dealer, Craig is excellent. He is honest and understandably has no choice but to play the stupid, annoying game management makes them play with custo dealer, Craig is excellent. I appreciated his honesty and reluctance to play the game, but yeah, he has to disappear for a while and come back with an annoying price, and then go back and come back with worse prices to make the first annoying price see appealing. But i still walked away with a good 2013 Honda Civic lease. Compared to my Sansone, NJ Toyota lease 3 years ago, this Honda dealership was the lesser of the 2 evils. More
