Neve buy a Certified named used car Here is my updated review after 4months of buying the " Certified" used car. " I RECOMMAND NOT TO PURCHASE any kind of used car from THE STATAN Here is my updated review after 4months of buying the " Certified" used car. " I RECOMMAND NOT TO PURCHASE any kind of used car from THE STATAN ISLAND HONDA dealers. " my fellow consumers dont waste your time and money at SI HONDA because they are fraud and not legit Dealers. First of all As per Honda of America certification process -- there need to be 182 point inspection as per their process. A car cannot be certified if there is a problem with any of the parts before selling to customer like bumper with repaints, and visible scratches, bad rotors, break pads, after market parts, bad lights, bad AC condition, etc .. what ever comes under 182 point. But SI Honda did not do any such After few days of writing the previous review, with all sale team drama finally they convinced me to purchase the car as a great car. Intact i had waited many days to find a good coupe with v6 engine for many days, so couldn't wait much long so purchased the car. Where they have not provided the 182 point inspection and Honda warranty documents. The SI Honda charged me( the customer) for the certification fee in the purchase order and they didn't do changes in the car parts as per Honda 182 point inspection process before they sell that to me(customer). Current issues with my pre owned Certified : 1. With in First 2 weeks after purchasing the car, i had serious problem with front whell rotors and breaks. I immediately called them and ran to SI Honda paying "15$ toll" with 2 hours traveling in traffic to show the problem i am facing to SI Honda Dealers. "They said sorry my friend its our mistake, we will resurface the rotors of the car" and they resurfaced it, Here they made me wait for 4 hours to complete the resurface the rotors. 2. All the tires are not same brand/make, one of the tire is after market brand tire -- because of the bad tire i hear a lot of noise inside the car -- usually when dealers certify as Certified car with Honda of America, they need to be diligence to make sure all the tires are same make , and if there is any bad tire they need to replace with same brand tire before certify. 3. One of The front light is a aftermarket parts (not a honda parts). -- I got issue with the front light after few months, i been to one of the Honda Service center thinking my car is covered bumper to bumper for the first year on all the parts. the Service guys opened and said, the honda warranty doesn't cover the after mark parts present in the car. So again SI Honda didn't do changes on the car before certified. 4. AC is not working properly --- Its not cooling my car. 5. Front bumper with all scratches and repainted - should not be certified as per Honda of America certification process. 7. Front bumper popping up at front hinges when we drive on highway at 60/70 miles speed - should not be certified as per Honda of America certification process. 8. They charged me for preparing and detailing the car from inside and outside in the purchase --- but they didn't do that before handing over the car keys to me, all they did is just water cleaning from outside and vacuuming from inside. I raised a compliant/case with Honda of America about my following issues. They said "you purchased the car from the privately owned Honda Dealers, so you need to work with them and we have no control on them". But Honda of America are helping me to work with SI Honda Dealers if they can do any thing on these issues. Currently due to work reason, i couldn't go back and ask the dealers to address the issues as i am 1000 miles away from SI Honda. -------------------- Old review: Very bad attitude, no good English speaking sales person, worst behavior and sneaky people. They hided the extra charges until i sign on documents and give downpayment. When i see the actual price after all signing they tired to rob me around 3000$ extra on actual internet price. Luckily I cancelled deal with them but my money got stuck with them untill i get them. NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS DEALER. This is not SINHONDA. More

But the 2nd time I bought a car from them they really screwed me over, we agreed to a price on the new a car and agreed to have have my 1st car I bought with them paid off and 2 months later I am getting calls from Honda financial that I am past due and the late payment went on my perfect credit report. Called these crooks up and they finally sent payment to Honda for my old car, but in the end I'm stuck with a negative mark in my credit report and there is nothing I can do, not only will I never deal with them again I will never by a Honda because they refused to do anything about it and was told I am responsible for not paying in time when I had no idea that I was late or liable for the old car after I entrusted the dealer to fulfill their end of the agreement. He went above and beyond for me and was very patient. Even letting me think about deal over night without question. He made sure I got the best deal for my price range without judgement, he made sure my decision was informed and even gave me tips on getting the most from my civic, since he drives on himself. I would recommend him to anyone. Pat is also a salesman I would recommend he spoke to me both days I was there about honda vehicles and cars in general. Though dealerships can make anyone cringe.(Especially women) This process was made pleasant and simple because of the team at Staten Island Honda. Finance was quick and simple. Also Steve who takes care of insurance was honest and straightforward. More

OUTSTANDING My son is 21 entering the NYPD Police academy and he wanted to buy a new car. He wanted a Honda, so we went to Honda Of Staten Island on Hylan Blvd. He is now a proud owner of a 2015 Honda Civic. Anthony Raucci has to be the BEST sales manager I have ever met. He was kind , caring, patient and honest I felt relaxed not stressed like I have at other dealerships. He had the answers to ALL my questions and explained everything to my son. We took car of Insurance, Keith took car of the Finance part also a great guy and we are VERY, VERY, HAPPY. Thanks again to Anthony you are the face of Phenomenal. Thank you also to Keith and Pat. WORST EXPERINCE They tried selling me a Accidental Car as a certified car and started misbehaving when i found out. My Friend and me found out that the car had the trunk full of water when started inspecting and the rear wind screen has been broken and the whole car had glass pieces when we push down the back seat. Back Dashboard had hole in it. The dealer didnt inform us and told that no part has been changed. We reported this to the manager and asked him to report the accident to Police as he cannot sell the car as certified car if its damaged. The manager started shouting and misbehaving with us. I wont recommend this dealer and its not trust worthy they can sell damaged cars as certified cars. More
oil change service after reading most of the reviews I decided to see for myself however I was highly disappointed with the service, for one you would think having a s after reading most of the reviews I decided to see for myself however I was highly disappointed with the service, for one you would think having a service contract would mean a satisfactory job a couple of days after the service I checked the oil in my crv and found it needed some not a quart but it needed oil so then I just went along and checked the water cells in the battery and it needed some water . you would think that once in a while they (service manager) would read some of these reviews its obvious they don't seem to care . they had a nice clean shop and talked as if everything would be handled correctly.. my advice go somewhere else but most staten island people are goin for conveyance More

They were honest when working out a price with me, and stuck to that deal; they did not just spit out false numbers in hopes that we would come back. They were very conscientious about the paperwork that needed to be filled out, and called my insurance company themselves when we ran into an issue to ensure the job was done correctly.
