A dream car with a dream team! I did my research long and hard, to find a deal with a sales team that wouldn’t take advantage of me. I hate dealing with car salesmen and the process of buying a car, but my experience with Jilmar Esperanza really showed me how honest and direct a salesperson could be. I had done my homework to which car I wanted to purchase, and after calling around, came to Honda West for one I verified was available. I was assigned to Jilmar Esperanza. Generally I don’t trust sales people. I double checked & scrutinized every step Jilmar took, and every document he showed me, just waiting for him to try to get away with something! Having made all the common mistakes at dealerships in the past, I really took on the daunting task of educating myself as to all the ways a car salesman could try to pull a fast one; and thru hours of research, I knew all the tricks. Instead I was surprised to be met with a level headed, down to earth and courteous human being, who exemplified what a car sales transaction should be like. Jilmar looked after me and my needs in every aspect of the sale. For my test drive, I had issues figuring out how to connect my phone to the Bluetooth, which I needed to secure since the entertainment system is important to me. He calmly guided me thru the settings, and even took the time to make sure my phone was properly connected again before I left, so I’d be able to have some music for my victory drive home with the car I wanted! He also left me with a full tank of gas, and arranged a great deal on an extended warranty; which I’m normally opposed to, until I learned the value it had! $0 deductibles, years of free coverage on everything mechanical & electrical at 1000s of Hondas nationwide, free rental car for the duration of all repairs…very relevant with my business being mobile! I am so, so grateful Jilmar was chosen for me for the dreaded sales process! Jilmar got me back on the road with everything and more I asked for! This experience couldn’t have gone better! Do yourself a favor, have faith in humanity again and ask for Jilmar Esperanza when you visit Honda West! The best outcome I’ve ever had from my 20+ year driving history! More
