I went to my locsl holiday world dealership to look at an rv on Saturday with my parents. Found one I liked and they were going to add parts for my truck to tow the trailer as part of the deal. My sales person told me that this was refundable if I decided to back out. Later I got a call from a finance guy from the dealer telling me in order to even send my info to their bank they needed $1,000. He had me initial a form. I never got a receipt or signed for the $1,000. Monday comes around and finance guy says I’m approved but very high interest rate, and didn’t know anything about the parts thrown into the deal. At this point I just wanted out. I drove to the dealership where they had me talk to their parts manager who personally advised me not to get my truck hooked up there, and that they have a ton of new guys who he wouldn’t even trust to touch his truck he said. I thanked him for his honesty, and said okay now I want out to the finance guy who immediately got hostile. He walked away from me to talk to the sales manager. Sales manager sat me down and was extremely friendly until I told him I wanted out and I wanted my money back. He immediately gave me a nasty grin and said well you aren’t getting your $1,000 back. Because I initialed a form. He walked away from me. I stopped another manager and asked him to put to the form and tell me where it says this is non refundable, because my sales person and their finance guy told me both it was - in front of my parents who confirmed. Manager said sorry and he’ll “school finance guy on how to be more forthcoming with customers from now on.” Before I left they basically said either I lose my money or I buy the rv, and that later today they’ll contact me to finish the rv deal. The whole experience was very upsetting. More
Absolutely one of the worst experiences ever. In trying to purchase an RV, the sales person Ron was fantastic to deal with but everyone else kept dropping the ball so I decided to try elsewhere. It was the perfect one. But I insisted on only working with Ron and NOT Sean (terrible finance person). Things went well until I flew from Georgia to Texas to finalize the purchase. Chris ( new finance person) tried the “hard close” insulting my intelligence and dropped the price from over $30,000 for add-on junk. Saying it included a ceramic coat application the can be do in less than 2 hours. I knew then, it was all junk. After about 5 minutes and several tries, he dropped the price to below $8,000. What could it have been worth if he dropped the price that much that fast. After asking Chris numerous time to get the tax and fees verified and correctly add to the contract, he just wouldn’t. Now they owe me almost $3,000 since they over estimated taxes and fees. And now they will not send me the money they owe me. I agreed to finance the RV (the dealership and Chris make money on that). Now I’m battling with the finance company BMO because they can’t identify me. Since I had not received any payment book or account information the day before the first payment due, I called BMO. They don’t have my phone number or my birth date so they can’t identify me and provide ANY information from account number or payment location. Looks like I’ll end up with a late payment and extra interest because Holiday World of Katy Texas again failed to do the right thing. When I asked Chris to get involved, he promised to get back to me the next day, that was a week ago. No word from anyone. I call BMO daily trying to get this resolved. We are getting closer but no resolution yet. Interest and penalties could be several hundred dollars not to mention the blemish on my credit report. I’m now trying to pay the loan off in full but can’t since BMO can’t identify me. Buyer beware of Holiday World of Katy Texas. More
Well after buying their top of the line Class A diesel pusher. My new 2023 spend just over 3 months in their service department having one thing after another repaired. From toilets that don’t flush not even after they already fixed them the first time to trim falling off to fans not working, I can go on and on all the little stuff that should have never been an issue. After I was finally told I could pick it up the AC stopped working as I was pulling off the lot. I took over $50,000.00 loss and traded it in right then for a Renegade Super C. Two weeks later I finally got to take it out and engine break and air brakes stopped working along with several other items. Over 1 1/2 months later I’m told it’s ready this is after 6 failed attempts to pick it up after receiving a call from Holiday World Service Department when all the work wasn’t even completed. Well summer is now over and kids back in school. Stay away Holiday World Katy. The service department is full of incompetent people. More

I have no idea what to do anymore cause I need my rv back but they just keep lying and not fixing anything properly I’m extremely upset about this we bought the rv at this place which was not a bad experience but that’s when it all ended they will lie to you scam you just to take your money stay away don’t be fooled like I have. Dealership is incredible! If i lived out of Texas id still make sure to trade my rv with Holiday World because no one else will take care of you before and after the sale. Renegade wont fix it, holiday world will not give me my money back. Had to get a lawyer. Both companies have ignored for months at least 4 requests from the lawyers. The scrub bags at Holiday world will not give me my money back but they were willing to sell me another $300K and let me lose almost $100k on the broken RENEGADE RV I bought from them because it was broken.Every time I have asked for my money back, they just ignore me and act like I didnt say anything. It’s sad when even your sales staff talk bout how poorly RENEGADE RVS are built at the time of the sale. This RV is brand new with only 6k miles with a full warranty. Complete sham company. The worst high pressure sales pitch ever been through. First tried to plug 4300 worth of parts into the sales price. Just in case you wanted to spend $4300 on a sewer hose I guess? Offered me 65% of what my Motorhome is worth on any blue book value you decide to look up. Had to ask 3 times to get my license back, just so I could leave. Ended up having to get very upset and raising my voice to retrieve my license. Do Not attempt to purchase a new motorhome from here, unless you don't care in being stupid. I have owned a motorhome for 10 years, You would think I was ignorant. The Newmar product appears to be a good product for sure, but I wouldn't buy from here no matter what. More

They were great when we purchased it. However, the RV is a lemon. Death Trap Don’t buy from this dealership. First trip the motor stalled 2 different times on a mountain. Items defective were not replaced at the time promised Top bunk dropped with our grandkids in it. Sensor alarms were not working correctly. We have bought several RV in the past from this place. Their management has changed and the service is horrible. They make promises but do not honor them. We refuse to yea we in it due to the problems. More
