I had an experience at Herrin Gear that you cannot even make up if you wanted to. The way management speaks to customers is beyond belief. I had a great salesperson that made an honest error. He sold make up if you wanted to. The way management speaks to customers is beyond belief. I had a great salesperson that made an honest error. He sold me a used truck that he believed was a 4wheel drive truck. When I got it home and realized it and called him, he was quick to say he would make it right and find me a new truck. I then went back in a few days later, and the used car manager, Jason Bain, tried to trade me for a 4 wheel drive truck at a terrible price...and was not willing to work with me. To say he was trying to screw me over was an understatement. After about 15 minutes of getting nowhere with him. I told him I wanted my money back, and my trade in back, and he said "we don't write checks back to customers". I then said I would just go meet with the Attorney General and he said "you just go do what you have to do". At this point, between him trying to basically screw me over on the deal and not admist the error that his salesperson made (who let me say again, was a great salesperson), I was in shock and frankly angry. Now...get this. He then said, and I quote, "I don't know who you are coming in here and trying to xxxx down my throat". Really? Really? The Manager over the used car inventory at Herrin Gear Chevrolet, who is supposed to be a respectable dealership, tells me "I am trying to xxxx down his throat" . Well isn't that professional? In all my 64 years, I have never even heard such a term, nor could I ever imagine Jason Bain, the used car manager at a dealership at Herrin Gear, would say such a thing to a customer. How unprofessional can you be? I can promise you I would fire any of my employees on the spot, no matter what their level in my company was, if they EVER talked to one of my customers like that. Unbelievable. At the end of the day, I finally dealt with Warren Smith, the General Manager, who after a 3 minute discussion of the issue, made it right and committed to write me a check back for the mistake, take the truck back, and give me back my trade in. Warren's actions epitomize the way things should have been done. The dealership should be embarrassed by Jason Bain's actions and the way he speaks to customers. Sadly, I will NEVER deal with Herrin Gear....and will be telling this story to every one I know because it is hard to fathom someone speaking to a customer this way. So far, every time I tell this story, people just looked back and me and literally drop their jaw that someone at a dealership would talk to me this way. Btw, I have been an executive in the customer service arena for a long time. I know what service is...and what it is not. Telling a customer that you are pissing down their throat is over the top. Herrin Gear should be ashamed. More

If you are looking for a CPO Buyer Beware! I am so unhappy with the service I received from this dealership. I purchased a CPO 2015 Infiniti Q50 in March of 2018. I have taken my car back for I am so unhappy with the service I received from this dealership. I purchased a CPO 2015 Infiniti Q50 in March of 2018. I have taken my car back for service twice due to the manufacturer's suggested maintenance schedule. I know this seems like such a small complaint but it lends to a bigger picture. The ad for Herrin-Gear service states that a complimentary car wash is included with each service. I have had my vehicle serviced twice with a combined amount of $500 in expenses. The first time I took it I had them do the next stage maintenance since I had run past the suggested guidelines of 45000 miles and was close to 48000. I got my car back and the only thing I could tell that had been done was that the inside of my car smelled different. I asked about the car wash and they told me that they no longer did that and that I would have to pay for it. I left disappointed but later became irritated when a coworker told me that they always wash her car. A week later the tire maintenance light came on saying my tires needed air. My mother had fallen ill and has since passed away so I didn't not take it in for air immediately. When I did take it back it was for the purpose of an oil change and to have my tires checked. I had picked up metal in one of the tires so they repaired it at $35 DOLLARS!! They still managed to miss airing up the tires. Now the warning is worse than before. Not only did they not wash my car but the technician left a 12 inch long black shoe scuff on the driver's door. I did check the oil to see if it had been changed because this was the second time I had come away with less than the service I expected. They did at least change the oil. One last point. After I purchased my car I realized that the little metal emblems were missing from the fenders and trunk. My paperwork says that my car is a Sport edition. I discovered that the car had been repainted. I did have a Carfax that showed no accidents but now I have lost confidence in that as well. They did put the 3.7 emblems on it but told me that my car wasn't supposed to be a Sport edition. One more small issue..I had purchased a leather kit for my seats. When I left it was not given to me even though it was paid for. No one called. I went back a couple of weeks later and got it with the receipt. I did email and received a response from Kyle who said he had forwarded my issues to the Used Sales and Service managers but needed my phone number so they could call me back. I bought my car from them and had it serviced so I have no idea why they did not have my contact number. Needless to say I have heard nothing back in the last 5 days. Did I get what I have paid for from March 2018 until now? You decide. For me, my answer is no! More
Service Department is a JOKE!!!!!!! I took my car to Service King to have the bumper replaced after a tire from a blowout hit it. They fixed it but I had to take it back and they had to take it to Herrin Gear Infiniti. I have no idea how many parts that I was told they had put it on and didn't work which lead to something else going wrong. I was finally told I could pick my car up....I went to get it and OMG paint was missing, there was a dent on the side, where the bumper was supposed to meet the other part of the car wasn't even close not to mention it did not even line up..I could see walking up to the car that there was oil all over it. When I opened the door there was oil on the seats the roof and floor mats and something had obviously been spilled on the console and they were giving my car back to me in this shape!!!!! I took pictures and refused to take the car until all was fixed. I was told it would be the next week since they had to redo everything and now repaint hood and bumper and clean the inside that was oil everywhere. Over 2 weeks later I decide to stop by and find out the status on my car since no one would call me or my insurance rep back.Of course no one knew anything and my service advisor was at lunch so I waited and she never came back while I was there. I finally get another call saying my car was ready..i went to pick it up and the service advisor sd the reason it took so w long was because they had messed the paint up BUT they were going to let me take it like that until the service advisor sent it back to be repainted then I opened the door and the inside was still the same oil everywhere so AGAIN I left it to be fixed. $ to 5 days I get a call saying it was ready again...went to pick it up and everything seemed ok until I tried to use the call/radio option on the steering wheel to find out NOTHING ON IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I GO GET THE SERVICE ADVISOR AND SHE SD SHE WOULD TAKE IT BACK and see what was wrong. She came back and sd it would take 20 minutes but when she got back there it worked and the service guy was sending it back to me. Now the guy was not even going to check it out until she was bringing it back to me and it stopped working again. They "fixed it" the next day it quit working. I called to bring it back in due to the same problem. it works one day it doesn't the next...I am at the point that when they finally get it back will they really look at it or just say that they have. This has been going on since before Christmas( at the Herrin Gear Complex) and it is Jan 25,2018 and I am scheduled to take IT BACK TO HERRIN GEAR THIS FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! The car is a 2015 Infiniti Q50 with 12,000 miles. Herrin Gear has not offered me a deal on another car or anything. I would think a dealership as big as Herrin Gear would do something to keep the customer happy and coming back. Nothing !!! Disgusted is an understatement! More
Great service led to another great purchase My wife's stellar experience at Herrin-Gear Infiniti Service left her adamant that we return when it became time to purchase another vehicle. That d My wife's stellar experience at Herrin-Gear Infiniti Service left her adamant that we return when it became time to purchase another vehicle. That day came today, and after a lot of research, we got a great deal, and were treated more than fairly. Everyone we dealt with had great customer service skills, from Keith, our salesman to Alan, the pre-owned sales manager who gave us a great trade-in value, and Tim, who assisted us with all the paperwork. In and out in about an hour! And we'll be back when it's time to purchase the next vehicle. More

If you do not discover any issues prior to purchase, they will NOT fix them after purchase even if they are discovered immediately after delivery. Do not think that a CARFAX or any other info they provide is correct. They will not disclose damage to a vehicle, they will not report any damage they find, they will cover it up cosmetically. Do not buy from a used car from them without a thorough third party independent inspection from a mechanic or dealership you trust. If you can not make a pre-delivery inspection, do not buy from them. They will lie about the condition of a vehicle if they think they can get away with it. If you are a local buyer, you are better off driving to Brandon, MS than dealing with these people. If you are from out of state, you are better off shooting yourself in the foot. BUYER BEWARE - THESE GUYS ARE COMPLETELY DECEITFUL. More
Before I get to the review, I want to make one point very clear. I would advise anyone searching for a vehicle to avoid these cunningly deceitful people at all costs. However, if you must consider buying a clear. I would advise anyone searching for a vehicle to avoid these cunningly deceitful people at all costs. However, if you must consider buying anything from them, be very cautious and make sure to get absolutely EVERYTHING that is promised to you in writing PRIOR to signing ANYTHING. Prior to signing all of the paperwork for the vehicle, I noticed while inspecting it that it was missing a pretty major piece of equipment (rear seats). I asked if they had the seats. They stated that the vehicle was just traded in, and that the previous owner was going to drop them off soon. I restated my question asking if the seats would come with the vehicle. I was told yes. I also noticed that the power folding mirrors did not work. "They were working the other day because I used them. It's probably just a fuse that's blown. I'll make sure that gets fixed for you." So, we agreed on a price (assuming these items would be fixed) and proceeded to get the paperwork started. After being offered a ridiculously low price for my trade in (less than half of the blue book value if I sold it myself), I proceeded to purchase the vehicle without trading. Once all of the paperwork had been signed and the keys handed over (making the vehicle mine), the assistant manager says, "Oh, for the price you paid, if the guy doesn't bring the seats back, we can't replace them." The salesman then said, "Don't worry, we'll get the seats for you." Then foolishly (and I know that this is my fault), I trusted his word that they would come through for me and signed the paper saying they didn't owe anything else on the deal assuming that it was part of an agreement they had with previous owner to get the seats. They also stated they would get me the second set of keys when I picked seats up. Fast forward a week when I still hadn't heard anything from them regarding the seats, I proceeded to call the office and asked to speak with salesman. I was told he wasn't available at the moment, and that he was going to call me back. Another day goes by, so I call again. Again, I'm given the same story. So, I called his cell phone. He told me that he would check on the seats. After many more calls and discussions over the course of a week without a definitive answer, he stopped answering my calls and ignored my texts and voicemails. Finally, I get a text message back after 5 days (and much badgering by me) saying "We can't get the seats." I now know that the mirrors that are on the vehicle had been swapped out with non-power folding models (never would have worked) at some time. The previous owner of the vehicle never even agreed to give them the seats in the trade. And they didn't even have the second set of keys because the previous owner still had them. I know all of this because I just left the previous owners house after having to purchase the seats from him to get the rest of the vehicle that I bought from Herrin Gear. So the deal I got (being book value), turned out to be worse since I didn't even get the rear seats. Now, I realize that technically they don't owe me anything since I signed the paper saying they didn't owe me anything (after I had signed all the papers to purchase the vehicle), but this is just deplorable behavior from any kind of business. After being misled, deceived with slight of word, and flat out lied to, I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. Matter of fact, I would HIGHLY recommend staying as far away from this dealership as possible. Please learn from my mistake, and do not give these deceitful people any of your hard earned money. More
