When you have a a confidence in your service people, that makes you want to come back, because you know you're in good hands, and you will not have to worry about your car. When you have this kind of customer relationship you are more likely to come back and purchase more cars from this dealership. This is my third Nissan, that I have purchased from Herb Gordon because of the service that I receive. George is ready, willing and able help resolve problems that occur. If you need a rental- he gets it for you, parts-he orders them for you & they come in a timely manner and they are right. More

Regarding my recent bodywork repair with the MileOne Collision Center in Beltsville, Maryland, I felt a need to discuss the repair with my mechanical service advisor Keith Hirsch. He brought some concerns I expressed to the attention of Mr. Rodd Bowman, Service Director at Herb Gordon. Mr. Bowman’s response to me was prompt and thorough. Very reassuringly, Mr. Bowman emphasized the importance of understanding my concerns properly by getting the correct individuals at the MileOne Collision Center to become involved in my repair. I am pleased that even though this was not “his job,” Mr. Bowman took accountability for my issue and took the necessary steps to ensure my satisfaction. Both of these gentlemen—Mr. Bowman and Mr. Hirsch—conducted themselves in a sincere, professional, proficient manner. I appreciate that! More

Mr. Hirsch demonstrates well-honed skills as he adeptly performs his liaison role between the service technicians and me. Often times the role of the service advisor is a hectic and thankless job; yet despite whatever has been dealt his way, Mr. Hirsch remains the consummate professional. He takes the time to explain the pros and cons of any recommendation. Most importantly, he listens to what I have to say and then works with me to meet my needs. I met Mr. Hirsch about 10 years ago when I was in need of a fresh perspective on the repair of my then 12-year-old Pathfinder. With my older Pathfinder, he took the time to recommend the appropriate repairs to return the vehicle economically and satisfactorily to a safe and drivable state. At 16 1/2 years, I decided to trade in my Pathfinder on an Armada. Knowing that I had a reliable and interested service advisor at the MileOne Herb Gordon Nissan dealership was about 98% of the reason I purchased my new 2004 Armada from the same dealership. I have never been let down. I look to Mr. Hirsch to recommend and advise me on keeping my Armada safe and fun to drive. Moreover, Mr. Hirsch’s interest to help me extends outside of the four walls of Herb Gordon. A recent “fender-bender” left me worried about how to get my Armada repaired. The experience in working through the repair with the MileOne Collision Center affiliated with the dealership was made easier by Mr. Hirsch’s intervention. My Armada is on the mend, and I cannot thank Mr. Hirsch enough for, once again, standing by his customer and ensuring that I received only the best service from MileOne! More

Though I live in VA, I bought my 2009 Altima Coupe at Herb Gordon and I am glad that I did. The car is everything I expected and draws attention wherever I go. This was the second service at Herb Gordon; it was for warranty replacement of the front strut mounting insulators. Arrangements were made, by phone and in pereson, by Paul, whose middle name must be SERVICE. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgable and professional. He gave me several options on how the service could be accomplished. Somehow, he got the job done in half the estimated time. And he sent me home in a clean car! More

Mr Hassan was a pleaure and joy to work with. He most definitely calmed my fears. I was looking to get a used car, but Mr Hassan recommended to me a new car, which I did not think I would get approved for. When Mr Hassan called me to come pick up my car I was totally estactic. Last year I was turned down so many times after visiting several car dealerships that I had gave up on owning a vehicle. I would like to thank Mr Hassan for his patience and dedication to obtaining me financing. I would like to thank the entire staff at this Nissan dealership, everyone was so pleasant and friendly. This past Wednesday we purchased our fourth Nissan in 25 years, an Altima 2.5 SL, from Debbie Colt at Herb Gordon Nissan. Our previous dealer no longer sells Nissans, so we felt we had been sent 'out into years, an Altima 2.5 SL, from Debbie Colt at Herb Gordon Nissan. Our previous dealer no longer sells Nissans, so we felt we had been sent 'out into the cold' to find a new dealership after working with the other one for 20 years. We did a bit of checking around, including reviewing AAA pre-negotiated prices and the UBS price offered through our credit union. Herb Gordon was one of three dealerships with which AAA had negotiated in our area, and when we requested a quote online via the AAA site, each of the three dealers contacted us by email and by phone. The other two dealerships immediately tried to change (upward) the price quoted, and/or suggested that certain items which AAA said were included in the price, like freight, were additional. Only Debbie Colt quoted us exactly the price which AAA had quoted and also gave us an additional discount indicated as available to internet buyers. She was completely helpful, friendly, straightforward, and well informed and never tried to play the usual cat and mouse games we have always experienced with other dealerships. We would have liked more for our trade-in, because it still looks great and runs perfectly, but it is a little 'long in the tooth', i.e. it has 166K miles on it and is 11 years old, so we knew it was time for a new car. It never once stranded us or broke down though, so we almost felt like we had betrayed our trusty old Maxima...haha! We did maintain it religiously and we expect to do the same with our new Altima. We hope the service area is as good as it looks and sounds from other reviews. Debbie told us she had been there for 23 years (!) We have never bought a car anywhere in the past where the saleperson was still there even a year after we bought it. That seems like a very good sign to us. If people stay put, they are usually happy, and if they are happy, it usually means that things are good for everyone, employees as well as customers. We feel like we've found a 'new home' with Herb Gordon and look forward to a long happy relationship. More
