I have used this dealer's service department since 1984. I have been really happy with the repairs because they are done right the first time & because the service writers and technicians are friendly & kno I have been really happy with the repairs because they are done right the first time & because the service writers and technicians are friendly & knowledgeable & always take the time to explain anything that I need explained. Moreover, if I need a loaner, it is available. And, if I call because I have what I see as something needing immediate service, they always fit my car in. That is what happened this past Friday afternoon... My regular team leader, George (who is terrific!) had left for the day but I was hooked up with Lynn, who as it turned out, would be there the next day (Saturday). I explained what was going on with my car & that I really needed to get it in immediately but also needed a loaner & within minutes, Lynn worked out all the details. To avoid Friday afternoon Beltway traffic, I took the car in the next morning. Both the loaner & the paperwork were ready & I was out of there within 10 minutes. This was at 8:30 am. By 11:30 am, I knew what was wrong with my car & the cost to do the repairs. By 2:30 pm, I had my car back. It doesn't get any better than that--unless it's free--& I regularly get coupons from both Nissan & Herb Gordon + there are additional coupons/specials on the Herb Gordon website. And, I might mention that there is a Nissan dealer much closer to my home but I would never consider using another Nissan repair shop. I really feel like I get exceptional service at Herb Gordon! i went into Herb Gordon Nissan in order to purchase a Nissan Sentra. I had emailed Kevin Yi because of the Internet quotes so that I could work from there. When Kevin came in, Debbie and Kevin did a tag team thing to help me out (finding the right car, telling me about options on the car, looking at how much my 2002 Sentra would be traded for and generally giving me information so that I knew what was going on). I had gone to Herb Gordon because I had bought all my Datsuns/Nissans there since 1976 and I have found both the sales staff and service department (Red Team and general Management) to be outstanding. I am always taken care of and I appreciate the help I get when I come in. I won't even look at another Nissan dealer because of the outstanding service. More
I dealt with a sales associate named Jamie, who was very nice. However, I felt I was mislead from the moment I walked in the door. It was one of those situations where they tell you one price on the phone and when you get in its another. The business manager was the worst aspect of my experience there. I got the vehicle price from a car buying service through USAA where it told you the vehicle price. I spoke to Jamie, he confirmed it, so I went in to the dealer. I had financing in place, but also was open to Nissan financing if there were any incentives. I had researched KBB for my trade in advance. Their offer was nearly $2,000 less than the fair level Trade In Value. Then the price kept going up. Add in freight, add in processing fee, add in this, add in that. In the end the price was $4,000 north of the number that brought me in the door. That, on top of the fact that my trade was valued significantly less than I thought was fair, I walked away. Adding insult to injury the Sales Manager/business manager, who I worked with last, in my opinion was very condescending. He basically accused me of not reading fine print and blaming me for being mislead. I am assuming on their website there may be fine print, but I never went to their website - only to the USAA site, through my iPhone app. I double checked and there was no fine print. Period. The whole experience was a waste of my precious weekend time because we were on different price planets from the moment I walked in. They could have just told me the bottom line before I sat there for hours. Needless to say, there is pretty much nothing that could be said to me to convince me to buy from them given the rudeness of the business manager. More

This was the first time I am buying a new car. I went to Miles One Nissan and stumble upon Debbie Colt from Herb Gordon Nissan. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the car I wanted. She went through all the details about a new nissan altima and even offer me to test drive it. After I test drove it, I knew this was the car I wanted, and she did everything to get me the right one, because they did not have the color I wanted in their lot. She answered all my phone call, I even was able to call her on her day off over her cell phone. When I was ready to pick up my car, she even came all the way to pick me up because I did not have a ride. Overall, I had a great experience buying a new car, and I would recommend Herb Gordon to anyone looking for a new car. Their customer service is outstanding and I am very happy with the purchase I made. They really go to great length in making sure you have a peace of mind with your new purchase with all the waranty information. I had an amazing experience dealing with Mile One Herb Gordon. I was on my way home just for the weekend and really was concerned about some of the noises my car was making along with a couple recalls I h Gordon. I called late on a Thursday afternoon and I was able to be scheduled for early Friday morning. Friday morning my mom actually was having surgery and I was able to drop off my car, get a free loaner, and still get my mom to her surgery with plenty of time to spare. Lynn kept in close contact with me, telling me exactly what they found and what my options were. More impressively she went above and beyond her job and was concerned about my mother and actually inquired about her well being. When the care was all done I received a personal phone call from Lynn who stayed a little after her usual time to help check me out. Tom Hancock also helped check my car out, both of them together make Mile One Herb Gordon Nissan a wonderful place to do business. More

I called Herb Gordon because my car had just been in a accident and I wasn’t sure if it was going to be able to be repaired, aft Jordan is the BEST! Just when I was about to give up Jordan called me back to see how everything was going and if my car had been repaired or if I had bought a new one, I told him I was still in the market for a car but I was working on limited funds to put down and I needed my monthly payment to stay under a certain amount, Jordan told me he would do all he could to get me in a car. Over the next couple of days Jordan worked very hard to get my deal approved. I didn’t have a way to even get to the dealership because I live in DC about over an hour away from the Herb Gordon, but Jordan said that it was not a problem and he came all the way from Silver Spring to DC during rush hour just to pick me up, even though he wasn’t familiar with the area he still managed to find me. Jordan and the staff from Herb Gordon was great, I had to bring my two children with me to finalize my deal, the wonderful staff there watched over my kids while I did my paperwork and provided them with popcorn, snacks and entertainment to keep them busy while I took care of my business. I am so pleased with my Altima and the service at Herb Gordon I would recommend them to anyone looking for a car! KEEP UP THE GREAT JOB JORDAN & TEAM! More
