Had a great purchasing experience with Zhong at Hendrick's VW. There was no hard sell for add-ons and the dealership got me done and out quickly. Will buy there again if we do another VW. Hendricks Volkswagon should not be trusted. I tried to purchase a vehicle from them and was told by the sales person that “I didn’t need to put a hold on the car because no one knew it was for I tried to purchase a vehicle from them and was told by the sales person that “I didn’t need to put a hold on the car because no one knew it was for sale.” They had already run my credit and given me a quote on numbers. I told them I was planning on coming to see the car and asked if the car would be held while they were finalizing numbers with the finance manager, but still was told in a text everything is looking great and should have all ready to go in 30 minutes. After trying for hours to get in touch with the finance manager and sales person ( I called the main number and was told the finance manager was in a corporate meeting for 2 hours and would call me), texting and trying to follow up multiple times, I decided I would drive an hour to go see if I could purchase the car. Prior to driving, I texted the sales person to ask if I should drive there, and I was told that we would be ready to complete and finish the deal in 30 min. When I arrived. I was told the car was sold. I have numerous text messages and evidence to back up the lack of customer service. One of the finance managers (can’t mention name) refused to talk to me and told his employees to say he was at lunch. Even when the sales person told me where he was in the main office when I went to talk with him, he wouldn’t even look at me. The sales person did not communicate with transparency and the customer service was very poor . Thank goodness Frisco Dodge was able to help us buy a car that day. I encourage you to beware of the lack of communication and lies from this dealership . I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. I have screenshots of all the lies in text messages as evidence. More
Extremely unhappy with the service department there. My daughter took her car in for an oil change and tire rotation. After leaving, her low tire pressure light came on so she took it back to make sure My daughter took her car in for an oil change and tire rotation. After leaving, her low tire pressure light came on so she took it back to make sure something wasn’t wrong seeing as how she just had it serviced. The service advisor she worked with, Fernando, told her to let them know if she had anymore questions and then stopped himself and rephrased by saying have your dad call if he has anymore questions. Mind you, she never once mentioned her dad to begin with and her question was completely legitimate since her car had just been serviced. You’d think if the tire pressure was low, that would have been caught during the inspection and rotation. But then to insinuate that she isn’t capable of asking intelligent questions or handling her own car needs and that needs a man to call on her behalf with questions is ridiculous! She was belittled for being a female which is just absurd in this day and age. Women are perfectly capable of handling car needs. We will not be using this dealership again for sales or service nor do we recommend them, unless this is the type of service you are okay with. More
Besides the good deal I got on the ID4, it was a smooth and comfortable shopping experience. Zhong Ren was very helpful and went above and beyond (given they're currently very short staffing). It is not often that I leave a dealership feeling heard and understood. I went into Hendrick as my second stop on my car browsing journey fully expecting to visit a few other dealerships after. However, George was able to meet all of my needs plus more and did not leave me feeling pressured. I felt confident and comfortable saying yes right then and there without hesitation. Thank you to Hendrick and George for providing incredible customer care! I hope to be a long time customer. More
